People just want to be told where to go, and what to do...but never really sit down, to understand what it is they're looking for in life, or what they want, and need!! And when they get to where they have, what they thought they wanted....they're still not happy. Unless other people tell them, they are. Ok... But the one thing, I never really hear you talk about, is the aspect of the tax advantages, and the business aspect, of Puerto Rico, being a truly legitimate tax haven, advantage. And its ease, and closeness, of the Bitish Virgins, to form a joint international corporate center. That within 45 minutes, you can legally be in either your US Headquarters, or International Office. Pay virtually no personal, or Corporate Taxes, or Sales Tax. And personally deposit checks from either source, into either your US, or International Bank. That exist, right across the street from each other. And once in your Intetnational bank. The funds can be instantly distributed into bank accounts in Singapore; Liechtenstein; Switzerland; Hong Kong; Luxembourg, Indonesia; Malaysia, Thailand, and Moscow. Any thoughts....??

This is a question I'm asking myself now. I'm a small KZbinr, author, and marketing consultant but I'm tired of the USA keeping its strings attached to me when I'm not even living there.

@brian' I'm in the process of deciding where to get one...want to find someone I love to live first. In Colombia now and really enjoying Medellin 🙏 how about you?

I'm in a similar boat. Never really even lived in the States, but can't visit either because I'll likely be detained until I pay back taxes that I might owe. It's funny, we're debt free and live comfortably but we would be quite poor if we paid taxes to the different countries we don't even live in. Got lucky with double tax agreements so far.

@@MiaogisTeas yes there are ways around it, it's just the paperwork and hassle it adds that's most troublesome. Did you gain residency elsewhere?

@brian' nice! I'm in Medellin now and love it. I could see this being my first new home.

@brian' Attractive? Resident individuals are taxed on their worldwide income. An individual is resident for tax purposes if he/she is present in Colombia for more than 183 days (whether or not continuously) in a 365-day period.

Good questions need to be asked!! Many People dont know I began my Journey living abroad in 2013 in Chile. After living their for 2 years realized it was not right country for me. I left went back to usa and worked for a few years. I was fortuntate still being 22 years at the time and enough runway to change course. After spending time in Chicago very global international city realized I would much prefer eastern Europe and began traveling their and eventually moved their. In your case you seemed to approach re location first on personal merits rather than business merits which I think is often Best way to approach a country if you see yourself living some where longterm. No matter the country and business success eventually someone will leave a country if they personally cannot stand living their and are simply their on basis of business.

So many specific questions about the details of the business just prove one thing for me - that the business needs a minimum level of maturity in order to be incorporated offshore in optimal way. Before the new business makes revenue, it's apparently not possible to incorporate it in a perfect place, because the new startup will probably need a few strategic pivots before finding the right product-market match, and the variables changing in the early days imply different countries that would be right for incorporation. Still there would be a right country to incorporate a new startup even before there are any answers about what the business is going to do.

Hi Andrew, a little related to this topic, and a very interesting topic if you ask me. I have been very interested in real estate crowdfunding. I am just looking for a way to get constant cash flow for a rate of return somewhere between 10-15%. This topic hasn't really been discussed on your channel, and I think it might be an interesting topic. Which markets are very interesting to invest in, plus what if you invest through such a platform in for instance Estonia? Or in the US? For each property owned in a specific country, you will have to pay income tax in that country? Or how would those aspects work? I would be interested in seeing such a topic, as I think what to do with the money is an important part of it all, not just how to get it all organised.
