3 cities by turn 50 is usually the first strategic target. Best possible setups with those 3 cities may be an idea for testing. You covered where to settle the first city perfectly. No more doubt for a beginner.

i like the idea but im not too sure how that would work. were u thinking moreso trying to test city setups? or perhaps district setups?

The same map where you tested for this video. How to get most district adjacancies for 3 cities by round 50 could define a basic setup. Most districts can be planned at this point, no way they will actually be build at that time.@@MohProbs

Great video ! How does cities territories interacts with each other ? If your capital is starting to mix up with your second city, does it contribute its tiles to the second city in term of food, prod, yields etc.. ?
@MohProbs10 ай бұрын
when you click a city, there's a button with a head (manage citizens). with that you can manage which tiles are worked by what city and swap tiles if you need. i have a video (6 tips for managing your empire) which details this more

@@MohProbs Thanks a lot for the quick response, I'll go check that video ! I just returned to this game after a mega break and I used to only play Vanilla. Now I'm returning with my gf who's completely new and I was looking for a secret society video when I stumbled upon your great guides. Keep up the good work and you earned my sub 🎩

key concept here, tiles in your borders are not worked by default. only when a citizen is working the tile do you get the yields. this, in addition to other benefits scaling on population, is why food and housing is so key.
