Honestly….. just take your time, and do them when it feels natural. I think I first subscribed when you were doing storytime videos (or, I forgot to press that button but still watched your vids back then, dunno), then eventually my interest on storytime videos and channels wandered off. Then more recently I found one of your memey videos, enjoyed it, looked at the channel and went "...familiar." and watched some more, until I scrolled down and realized you used to do storytime videos lol Keep doing whatever you love, your content can just find its audience that enjoys it!

Honestly, make whatever you want because whether it's a storytime video or a silly cat animation, it's going to be fun and entertaining (also if you feel comfortable with the subject, I'd love to hear your story about transitioning so far, I like hearing about people's journeys and giving them all the love and support. I find that the more of the creator that can be found in the videos, the more people are drawn to it. That's why stuff like story animations, reactions, and anything where it's the creator's experiences and point of view are really great for growing a channel, at least from what I've seen.

If you ask me I don't mind what content you make, it's always been a joy to watch. Just do what makes you happy, make what you enjoy. I've never fully understood why so many push KZbinrs into making the content the many viewers want, because no matter what not everyone is going to be pleased, and sometimes that push is a detriment to the creator, mentally or otherwise. You've built up a sort of split audience, some who enjoy the modern content, with cute little animations, and others who miss the old story-times. Regardless of which is picked, someone's going to be unhappy or disappointed, so don't feel ashamed to put yourself and what you like first. This is general, too, for any other KZbinrs in a similar situation. It's your channel, not theirs.

I struggled a little as someone who was so used to your storytime videos, but honestly: weird cat livestreams pretty much had all what I needed, and I really enjoy the content you‘ve put out. I definitely don‘t want you to go back on something personal just because it would be a better business decision, since this channel is an art channel, and art is always personal, and not necessarily business related. I also don‘t want you to loose the enthusiasm you have for your channel, and to compromise on this seems to me at least the quickest way to do so. Please just do what you want with this channel. You earned my sub, and I don‘t want to take that away so quickly. Have Joy!

It's so easy to get put into a box and expected to make the same kind of videos on youtube, so it's a good idea to have some flexibility! Don't feel pressured to do something you don't want to do, even if many people miss it...
