There are 5 eye sores in Nairobi ( And in Nakuru too) that need to be regulated / acted on to make both cities cleaner & orderly. 1.Matatus 2.Hawkers 3. Garbage collection 4 Homeless people 5. Bodabodas. Both County govt should pull up their socks. Who else agrees ??

It has been my most beloved city before I came to the coast, it's now my second favorite city,I love it so much, it's a city, NAKURU is great,it used to be the most cleanest than Kigali,but things changed

There is a law guiding how towns are accorded city status in Kenya. Nakuru met the criterion hence it is now a city. Besides, Nakuru lies on grounds that cannot allow the construction of tall structures. While it appears small, Nakuru is actually one of the largest cities/counties in Kenya by population and GDP.

Nakuru is still one of the better preserved settler colonial towns. In fact, the most wealthy people there do not live in town, but descendants of the former colonial families who own lots of ranches and large scale farms in the area.
