Man, now I am itching watching you fight off those mosquitos! Nice vid. The big ones slurp it down.

I was getting the bad kind of flashbacks editing this one 🦟

It's always funny the ppl who aren't avid fisherman look in amazement at our setups along with the questions & comments 🤣

I don't mind answering questions but some people just silently stare like you're an alien on a spaceship which is awkward

He clearly thought I was over prepared but also had no idea about fishing haha. He didn't even know what species there may be in that area.

I don't know if I have ever seen a fishing video from Wisconsin looks beautiful out there.

Agreed. This one is equally beautiful: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nHSXiJuhlKaAnMk

Good start off up north complete with northern hospitality. Definitely need the bug spray up there. I do love how those big smallies just slurp a topwater bait and other times the middle weights slam them.

The northern hospitality always leaves me feeling swollen 😅 Can't wait for fall when those evil things are gone. I'm with ya. It's usually a bigger than average fish when they are super sneaky.

More awesome stuff. I’m always amused when people ask me why I need “all them poles.” I ask them if they golf. If they do I ask them how many clubs they use. Some get it. 🤷♂️🤣 If you want to expand your smallie arsenal check out my buddy’s lure company Bassdope. He’s based in the south burbs of Chicago. Makes amazing jigs and other snackables.

Good comparison for sure. Thanks and will do!

Where did you get that color of worm you were using for your wacky rig? What brand name? I've been looking for that.
@WorldsOkayestBusDriver2 ай бұрын
I LOVE Yum Dingers. They are a little soft, so you don’t get as many on each bait. But, I cut mine off after use and use them as Ned baits. I love the hook slot and a 3/0 hook lines up and works perfect.
@brianathern91542 ай бұрын
I'll wear out bass on the 5" Yum Dinger then save it to break down for Ned rigs. Watermelon, green pumpkin and the Bama bug colors are great in WI and IL.
@RivermanTV-2 ай бұрын
Yum brand but my friend may have given it to me so I'm not sure. My guess would either be Fleet Farm, Scheels, or Walmart.

how shallow is is that section of the Wisconsin River?
@RivermanTV-2 ай бұрын
@@hx1234 average depth is probably 3-4 ft but there are a few holes that are over 7.
