@@midnighttrain522 I know... But it's just the pricing that gets me. I bought a few figures in Japan last year, and it spoiled me. Getting them at retail, and even cheaper because of currency exchange was so nice. I was getting Mafex figures for about $40 to $50 each.

just got my confirmation from big bad toy store for Gambit finally and its only $90 w/ $4 shipping . thats a steal for Mafex. They also do daily deals and Mafex has been on there a few times in the last few weeks. today 90s Thor was only $68

I'm in Asia and I never pay over $70 for any Mafex figure. Just not worth it especially for their QC issues. Was in Tokyo recently and picked up 2 mafex robocop figures (masked and unmasked), Gambit, and magneto. They were all tax free and came out to be about $50 per figure based on current exchange rates. $200 for any one Mafex figure is insane and not a great way to spend on a figure that is worth less than 1/3 that.
