My favorite place to go was food court at the top floor in Terminal 21. They have a couple in Bangkok and one in Pattaya all with slightly different options, but you have a huge variety of food and most plates are around 1-2 dollars. It can get crowded but I pretty much went there every day. They have smoothies, fruit, chicken, pork, soup, pasta (trying to cater to tourists), deserts, different coffees... each booth had something different and there were maybe 15-20 booths.

That reminds me about old MBK food court about decade ago. It was really good.

I love the way they mix things like fruit juice, or coconut, with coffee in Thailand. I'm a coffee nut, and I have never been anywhere that does it like Thais in Bangkok and, especially, Chiang Mai.

I think it's good to diversify your channel and make more food vlogs. We all like Thai food.
I appreciate your vids...Just started watching you. I have been watching other Thai related channels for info. I have been going to Thailand since 2015 and I have just retired and I am returning to Bangkok on a retirement-o visa...WooHoo...I do have a question. I was looking at the Watthana district near ASOK...But watching you, I might look a bit farther up/down the Sukhumvit BTS line.....Not too worried about the heat...I am a Southern Floridian where 90f and 300% humidity is the norm and I also lived in La Vegas for 20 years where it hits 115f or 45c occasionally.

The reason the boat noodle size is small and they don't fill the bowl too full because original boat noodle is serve by a merchant selling the noodle in an actual small boat. They have to deal with wave from the long tail boat and they spill the soup quite often if they fill the soup too high.

Hi Forrest Eeg noodle that you just had as Thai we always have to mix with a spice that they provided at the table example as sugar, chili powder or chili flake roasted peanuts, vinegar and also fish sauce before we eat. If you eat direct with out add extra spice you will find out the taste will be plain accept you will taste a garlic oil and fresh herb as spring onion and cilantro that they put in the noodle . I jealous you that you have such a nice food and in good price in Bangkok . I was live in Bangkok before for studied and work there for 15 years but I moved to Canada almost 5 years now and still no plan to go back for visit my parent yet . Well I hope I can visit in spring next year . BTW sorry for my English it's my second langues not like my Thai . Thank you for shared video and have fun living in Thailand. Oh. BTW my name Tan , Cheers from Canada .

Nice ! Yes thing I miss most when not in Thailand is all the coffee shops! Such a good deal & more importantly good coffee! Where I live in US has crap coffee shops or starbux so I wait till we are back in Thailand 😉 Yeah the street food is a great deal too but be careful long term of what your eating. Ease off the deep fried stuff 😋 Prices still great but was mostly 35 baht 5 years ago so doubled now. But still waaaaaay cheap 👌 Thanks for another nice video!

Those four Thai dishes and three desserts would cost about $70 USD (not including 20% tip) at the Thai restaurants near Chicago. And they wouldn't taste as good.

Town in Town area is the place where many media production houses are concentrated and situated. The area, as such, are full of a variety of food to serve the office workers in this area. As such, although it is cheap comparing to Sukhumvit area, it is still not cheap comparing to other areas in Bangkok. (10 Bath more expensive, more or less).

The price icons on the drinks and food were good. I recommend if you’re going to tell a story about eating local start at ASOK or NANA BTS and travel to the locations that your recommending. Then you can provide more information and data about the places, prices, and experiences along the way.

i like eating the bbq sticks near the soi4 gas station, imo thats the best baht to protein ratio. 10 sticks and sticky rice and veggies for 105 baht, and they usually give me a free pork bbq stick. also terminal 21 is hands down the best quality for cost in that area even higher than street food.
more food blogs, mooooore! and with lovely ladies eating, thank you.

You know good things about living in Thailand is you can eat out everyday, you don’t have to cook . I moved to live in US for 5 years now I am so ready to move back to Thailand. In US I rarely eat out. It’s not worth to eat out here too expensive plus tip at least 15-20%. I ordered noodle in US it was 20$ while in Thailand you can get 40-50 baht less than 2$. I love food from 7-11 store in Thailand but in US there is nothing that I want to buy, it’s just different. Life in The States is more stress than I thought. My life in Thailand was chill and happy most of the time. I can’t wait to move back to Thailand.

Good for an experience but it’s quite a way out from the center so the same dishes would be about the same price after adding the transportation cost. From foreigners point of view it’s cheap but not for the locals, prices has gone up a lot in the last few years and their wages remain unchanged.
