Hey Bradley! lol thanks brother, really enjoy your way of sharing this great sport. I've been trying to pass it on to my grandsons 15 and 12 yrs. old, they are loving it and having some success as well. We fish the lower Susquehanna and Northeast rivers, your helping me bring em along for a lifetime of fun. BTW, we run a Ranger RT 198P aluminum and we love it. Thanks again

Niiiice video!!! I use to have a glass boat, but you are exactomundo correctomundo on a “tin rig.” I got a tin rig now and was fishing in a creek off the James (Gunns Run) last year during a tourney and passed (got permission) 3 glass boats that were in there and went as far as I could go till I ran aground. Then, I trimmed up the motor, dropped the trolling motor, and started fishing and shortly after I got there the current started going out. I caught 17 fish in there, but had a 4 plus and two 3 pluses. The tin rig rules!!! Never going back to the glass boat.👍😃🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣

The first couple times I fished that river I was in a tracker 195 tin rig. After selling it and getting a Z20 pro I'm scared to go back just for the fact that I dont wanna blast off a lower unit. I fished an xfl there one year and there was a BFL going on at the same time. Well on practice day I towed in a ranger that knocked his lower unit off. Scary place for sure.

Will you explain the benefit of flipping with your off hand or do you have video that does. I can do both but normally don’t.
@BradleyHallmanFishing4 жыл бұрын
Angles! It’s usually all about different angles for me. Some feel and probably so that it is more efficient to flip with the hand that the rod will stay in. You can do this different ways. Learn to flip left handed which is what most of us have done. I know some like Bobby Lane flip with left handed reels. I think it’s important to be proficient with both hands not only flipping but all kinds of casting! AKA the spinnerbait.

you talked about the fishing pressure being big on a river system. What is your thought about just the boat pressure with being so much shallow water?

That’s definitely part of the issue as well. It’s everything combined on that river that just never sees many boats.

I enjoy your videos but I must admit this one left me a little hungry. One thing I've noticed about your tournament fishing is you seem to ignore that little voice in your head during the event. That voice has a name. It's name is EXPERIENCE. You after the fact do a great job breaking down the event. Now you need to take that same breakdown and do it while the event is happening. Your post critique is spot on, just a little to late. Next tournament remember that guy who's always in the boat with you, Past Experience and listen closely to what he has to say and react accordingly. Good luck.

Truly believe you are correct with some of my past tournaments that I have shared with KZbin. Experience I have. Listening to your instincts before and during an event is tough! The ones that do it successfully day in and out are the KVD’s of our sport! I appreciate your honesty and support. 🙏
