@@SafeDriveSolutions I had my VIOFO A139 Pro installed, but it is keeps giving this message on the App! “No internet connection! Low data mode!” Am I missing something? Do I need another device like LTE to have access?

@@seekfactsnotfiction9056 Well there is no internet connection when you hook your phone up to it. The unit does not have a sim card. Thinkware, IROAD, and many others will say that on the Iphone. It will say connected no internet. It is mainly telling you that Wi-Fi connection will not give you internet like a normal Wi-Fi router in your home would.

@@SafeDriveSolutions I connected through Wi-Fi while I am in my driveway at home, but I can’t get over that message! I checked the Dashcam, it is recording but I can’t view through the phone while I am home with mesh routers that reach up to 7K feet square, will an LTE router help?

Very through dash cam mount placements, some of them I didn't think about.Can it be mounted on the section with dots on the windshield? Thanks

Yes it can be mounted the 3M tape portion of it in the dots. Just make sure the camera is poking out underneath.

Is there a particular reason why you kept saying to mount it up high towards the passenger side? Surely you could do it at the same lower height as the driver's side application or would the wires just be a bit more messy. Surely it would be easier to reach the buttons though edit: I think I did the up high passenger side installation last time with A119 v2, but not sure what I'm gonna do with the a139 pro yet

It is because a lot of customers do not want to see the dash camera. We actually mount it up high quite often.

do you recommend a suction cup mount solution for the 139 Pro? I need for scenics only, and will be removing the unit often.

I do not know of a suction cup mount solution. I like the 3m tape by preference. But if your bringing from vehicle to vehicle a suction cup is a better solution. If your just taking in and oit of vehicle then the A139 mount the unit can detach from ot

@@michelletornqvist3282 Hello Michelle, I have never mounted it to the housing. I do know people who have. I do not recommend it because I find the dash camera usually does not stick that well to the plastic. What I mean by that is the 3M tape. You can always try and maybe it will work for you. There is extra pieces of 3m tape in the box if it does not work. But from my experience I like to mount it on the glass.

@@SafeDriveSolutions I know there is a FitCamX for Volvo XC40 (2019-2022) but mine is a 2018. Assume I could get a A229 or A139 mounted properly at the housing do you think the GPS would work properly and do you think the larger distance from the lens to the windshield would cause more reflections? (Sorry for my spelling but I hope you know what I ment)

@@michelletornqvist3282 Great point you brought up there. Another great reason to mount the dash camera on the windshield is so you can get great GPS reception. A couple things to note. The FItcam X has 170 degree wide viewing angle. When you get that wide it typically makes it harder to read license plates from my experience with dash cameras. Also you will not get parking mode unless This note from Fitcamx website. Hard wire to fuse box(Contact us to buy a fuse box cable) Here is our short of the Volvo XC40. Any advice for how to mount a 4K front unit A139 Pro on the rear hatch or am I going to struggle? maybe I gotta just deal with the worse quality and grab one of the mini cameras instead. I will probably try and install my cams with my dad but may be better just getting a professional to do but don't know how easy this would be. I know people have managed to do it though

I would be more concerned about running the thick cable through factory grommet more than anything. Mounting it is least of the worries. Plus you need to hide the low battery protection and etc at back of vehicle. Unless you are just planning on running the USB cable in the box. Still it is a thick cord.

In Spain you are not allowed to mount anything in the window witch can disturb your view. Not eaven a mobile holder. That gives onlyban option for the mirror..... any suggestion for any brand there ?

There's no better place to mount a dash cam then unobtrusively on the rearview mirror. Now mirror dash cams come complete with the full wireless CarPlay suite to display both the front or rear cam and the apps side by side onscreen. Massive upgrade in capability. Zero visual penalty. Why aren't major manufactures doing producing them? Why isn't this form factor reviewed on dash cam sites? What should we be looking for? Which one is best?

Many reasons why it is not reviewed. 1. Some mirrors have compass in them from factory, 2. Some mirrors have onstar, or other buttons built into it. That consumers do not want to cover 3. Some mirrors factory backup camera display shows up in the mirror. We also do supply or install any mirror dash camera combos at this time is another reason why we do not review them.

@@SafeDriveSolutions Those make sense. Everyone has different situations dealing with their rearview mirrors. I just don't have much windshield space and my rearview is empty except for three buttons on the bottom.
