That might have been good to say at the beginning of the video rather than having a headline/title stand alone that makes it sound as if you endorse her. I literally thought about unsubscribing until I watched the beginning of the video and you mentioned you are just sharing the information. The title could easily be misconstrued, but of course, it's all about clicks and comments, so the headline did its job apparently. Some people, however, might not get that far in the video and just read the title and make that decision to unsubscribe.

Then again everybody’s different. Some say it should’ve been brought up, the other half didn’t matter. She can’t satisfy everyone at once. I’d say it’s their fault for not watching the whole message. That wouldn’t be anything different than what people already do that follow her. They should know her better than that she would bring politics in on one side, but then some may be too sensitive.

FYI, since the late 90s, many people have said that they would move if candidate "x" would win. For example, Rush Limbaugh famously said that he would move to Costa Rica if Hillary Clinton had beaten Donald Trump in the 2016 elections. Note that Costa Rica (as Kristin mentioned) has universal healthcare and a strong social system, so it was likely that Limbaugh may not have been happy there. (On a side note, "Ottowa" is spelt "Ottawa").

I have some froend who had the opportunity to work at an overseas position with his company in europe. They've been living there since late 2017. It started as a temporary move but it became permanent 2019. I've visited them once in the Netherlands after the pandemic and they love it. Their two young kids growing up like kids picked up speaking two other languages. Taxes are higher in europe but so is the quality of life.

The American party is actually very, very conservative. This is especially true compared, let us say, to the Social Democratic Party of Germany. The American party, especially since Clinton, has moved ever closer to the business community, the tech community, and the military-corporate complex. If one is from the US, one can make active income up to 118k internationally, without paying any taxes. Now, if you make money from passive income then that is not sheltered, but get a good tax professional.

Iirc you can only stay in Canada on a regular tourist visa for 90 days. You can apply for a 180 day visitor visa, but you can't just show up at the border and it's not guaranteed you'd be approved for the visitor visa. Another issue, not real clear on this but I read that a US driver's license is only valid in Canada for 90 days, so if you stay longer you need another kind of license or just not drive after your 90 days expire. If you stay in Canada for 183 days or more in a calendar year, you're a tax resident there as well.

I moved away from my homeland of the United States. The last time Trump was president. Down to grand old Mexico. I love it here. It's beautiful. It was the best decision I ever made. We live in the USA 10 miles from Canada. My wife was born in Vancouver and has Canadian citizenship. My father was born in Canada. Hi Kristin, I look forward to your next video as well. My first question as I read this video’s title was exactly about that: Where is the best place to move if Harris wins? Unfortunately, no matter the country to which we choose to move, in my opinion, the political systems are hopelessly corrupt. It’s just a matter at this point of finding the least corrupt location that has the potential of offering the opportunity for our best life, however we define it. Ultimately, no matter where we are, it’s up to each of us to create our best life regardless of any challenges we face. Also unfortunately, (again, my opinion), with our US two-party commandeered system, we are continually faced with the choice between the least evil of two at best mediocre candidates. I know I am not alone in that opinion, given the geometrically growing number of Americans seeking to expatriate. In my view, as you and others have pointed out, in many ways, the US is NOT the best country in the world. Obviously the choice to live elsewhere is based on both objective and subjective factors.
