Nice review! Our first trip to Oslo was during the time the world was shutting down in March 2020, so we got a glimpse of Oslo, we are returning this March!

Those vital information is amazing. We would like to do the same. When we travel next time. How far from the central Oslo station?... We prefer to walk . Thank's soooooooo much for sharing. Florida USA

Thank you for the great comment! This hotel is a 5 minute walk to the Central Station. There is actually a connected walkway between the station and this hotel itself.

@@theseasonedexpats Hello, I will be in that hotel in a few months, how will I get to the station at night, where is that walkway?
@theseasonedexpats10 ай бұрын
@@alvaroleal4820 If we remember right the walkway is right on the second floor or third floor of the hotel. There is a special door there. There should be signs, or you can ask the front desk too! But it starts right at the hotel and goes all the way to the station!

Ok, but I was referring from the terminal to the hotel@@theseasonedexpats
@theseasonedexpats10 ай бұрын
@@alvaroleal4820 There are signs in the terminal building pointing to the walkway to the Oslo Busstation - you follow those to the walkway. Once across the walkway you are right at the hotel.

I just watched your review. Whilst in Oslo on holiday in the same hotel. I agree with the the review. Strange thing is that we are staying also in room 2509😂 what are chances of that !

Nice job. Completely agree with your review. It's great to take the train from the airport - big saver. Taxis are expensive. Each day, you can take the train since its 100 ft away. Breakfast buffet was good but rooms small. Top floor restaurant is disappointing. You do walk to get into city centre, across from Grand Oslo Hotel. We stayed at both. The big feature is the breakfast. Otherwise, I'd stay at the Grand Hotel but you have to walk with your luggage to get there. Oslo, is ridiculous expensive. You take the #3 train to Oslo University and to the lake.

I believe there was a power outlet in the bathroom on the right side of the mirror, you need to open it as it's closed because of the building regulations in Norway/EU

Right you are! We found the outlet during our stay after we made the video and have edited that part out.

The heat the last few years are not normal in Norway. We don't really have any need for AC because the heat doesn't last that long. It is normal with AC around the mediterrainean ocean, in Italy and Greece. Places like that. Also we don't really have outdoor pools for that same reason. It's too cold usually.
