In church part of marriage ministries we are taught never to talk or be alone the opposite sex. I see both did wrong by doing so, Both Lori and Ravi.This is called All need to REPENT AND ASK FOR FORGIVENESS. I thought it was just me. I always found that Ravi‘s talks were so intellectualized to the point of being almost meaningless. To hear you also say you could not remember or reiterate what you heard him say is exactly how I felt. The Gospel is for everyone. The message is simple enough for a child to understand. It doesn’t take several degrees to appreciate it. I think some want to show their intellectual prowess to impress more than to preach. We make it more complicated than it needs to be. @Nathan Ryder Varghese I understand your point, my husband agrees that there’s little point in this after his death but honestly.....I think that anyone who uses too many fancy words when preaching/teaching the masses is a warning sign..... Not everyone has a vast knowledge of vocabulary and should teach in thoughtfulness of that so that all hear the message and have understanding of what is said.... Obviously his family is hurting and they may know more details that aren’t presented or are deeply surprised and it’s not something to take lightly. He fell back into sin and I sincerely hope he repented on his death bed, it’s constant repentance when putting aside our old self; no one with their hand on the plow looking back is worthy to follow Jesus...I was convicted of that recently myself and praise God for me feeling convicted reading that short scripture and seeking repentance, moving forward of the past of what was done to me by family. What scares me, for you, is how quick you defend....and not consider..... Hope this finds you well, I sincerely hope you see my humility in being open about my own falling short and my concern with too much eloquent speech like Ravi. Please reconsider and pray for God’s wisdom, ask and you shall receive. There needs to be humility in love in our walk with Jesus and when people are lifted up in reverence, like Ravi, they need to be held accountable and ministered to just as much as the whole body of Christ. Jesus was even ministered to by angels after being tempted by Satan after leaving the wilderness after 40days.

Jesus instituted a religion - both in the Old and New Testament. He instituted a pattern of worship, sacrifice (of the self Rom 12:1-2) ritual (baptism and communion) and community. The question is not whether or not religion is wrong but whether or not you are in the correct religion, the one which centres upon the person and work of Jesus Christ and indeed relationship with Him.❤️🙌 To put away religion is to put away the very thing put in place by God. Also he wanted a 2nd wife, and he also made them agree that they were his secret wives sort of stuff. So since they agreed to that marriage or agreement then where is even the sin? Paul says , he does not want anyone who has two or more wives to teach in the church but paul never said you cannot marry more than one wife and if you have more than one wife you are some how not a christian this teaching is not in the bible. Christ was dealing with the jews and he said Do not divorce your wives because the Jews used to be married to many women. Thus the catholic mis interpreted Jesus teaching that you can only have one wife and that is not true. Jesus never told the jews to diverce all the wives except one, he told them not to divorce any. That is why paul said, if any man has two wives or more he cannot be priest in the church , paul never said not to marry more than one wife neither did he condemn those who had more than one wife neither did he told them to stop marry more than one neither did he said divorce the 2nd wife and keep the first. None of this teaching comes from the bible it comes from the catholic church. Ravi made them sign statment that they were actually sort of wives to him and they agreed since it is not condem in the bible to have more than one wives so where is even the sin in that. It is all a big propaganda.

Yes, He is. He is also the judge of angels who fell, as well as all humans. When we know God's Word and ignore it and continue to do our own sinful habitual practices and refuse to walk away from them, we are guilty of making a mockery of Gods holiness. His character is both merciful as well as terrible in His wrath. Christ died to deliver us from that wrath and to break the power of sin off from us, not to excuse our sin. But to break its stronghold so we could walk in God's righteousness by the Holy Spirit dwelling in our hearts. Ravi knew Christ and continued unrepentedly until the end of his life. I really hoped it was a hoax. But the evidence was too much against that hope. My point was that he had a public ministry for many years and lived a secret life. And he could have made amends at any time throughout all the time it was happening. I pray for his family and faithful colleagues. They must have had a gut punch like so many felt when this came out. Many highly esteemed men of God may fall, as many have already. We need to look to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, hold to the Word of God, seek the LORD in prayer, pray for the Holy Spirit to guide and protect us and know terrible times may lie ahead but our LORD will never leave us nor forsake us as long as we cling to Him. RZIM impacted me so much. Sir Ravi in particular especially when I was in a season of doubts and many deep questions. It's so heartbreaking reading all these articles about Him. I don't know what to feel, my hope and trust is in God but I can't help but to be affected by this. It made my realize many things. God still used him despite of these sins, shows how good God is. It's amazing how the Lord works, it's so incomprehensible. I hope sir Ravi repented of his sins, God gave him time because he didn't die right away because of his illness. Let's pray for their family, his wife margie and their sons and daughter. This is such a challenging time. May the Lord give strength, I know God is still working even in the midst of this heart wrenching happening.

I've listened to Ray and I enjoy the simplicity of his approach, however; I do not agree with his comments regarding intellect and the Gospel. The Apostle Paul by no mean was an intellectual slack or lacked diligence regarding God's word. Even Peter wrote that Paul's writings were difficult and were twisted for no good means. Ravi's approach lacked content anyone could see that and Ray's apprehension of what he sensed was not a mistake, questioning Ravi would have been appropriate and should of never been a concerned to Ray. I've read books from Jonathan Edwards, George Whitfield, Spurgeon, Calvin, Luther, Aquinas, Foxe, Bunyan and Augustine. I credit these intellectual giants for allowing God to use them and help challenge me to grow in my faith and not be like the waves of the sea undulating back and forth. They clearly placed Christ as their source for apologetics and not their eloquence (big difference). Your mind is a battlefield and we should remember what Christ said "Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God", this means study to show yourself approved. Sorry Ray but it's important we don't abandon the excellence of GOD's word. We are called to have child-like faith it doesn't mean we are to have a simplistic faith, uninformed faith or an unintelligible faith. What it means is I must have the same kind of confidence in the Heavenly Father that we can trust him implicitly. It is not unreasonable, it is not superstitious in fact the more mature your intellectual understanding of who GOD is the greater should be your child like acceptance of HIS authority, because the more you understand of the character of GOD the more utterly inconsistent it would be with rational thinking that GOD would deceive you because HIS track record is consistent. The Deeper your understanding of the character of GOD the more childlike your sense of awe and appreciation for the veracity of GOD, the Integrity of GOD and for the benevolence of GOD. In that sense we are called to be child like. Dietrich Bonhoeffer knew this and gave his life for it.

I read his son’s email to someone, and it further made me unsure of the judgment of the investigators and the investigation. How the investigators did not give him a fair chance for an interview and how his wife was not once given the fair chance to even attend the hearings nor shown any evidence as too members of the ministry. The wife who’s really at the centre of it all who gave her late husband’s materials to investigators did not get the honour of having to ask the investigators questions, but was only sent reports of an already concluded investigation without any input to dispute any falsehood or affirm any truths. I hold such with a pinch of salt. Whilst I’m not saying the man may be innocent, I’m saying for a case where the main witness is absent, and where evidence is not known, we cannot emphatically say the man was guilty of all he’s been accused of.

It's like God found me. It's hard for me to take any credit. One day, I appeared to hit rock bottom. A depressed, porn addicted alcoholic, who often had thoughts about how great it would be to never have to wake up again. Suddenly didn't want to have anything to do with it anymore. I know that if I continued down that path, I would be the next Ted Bundy. Then I became so offended about how my husband celebrated Christmas with the kids. It seemed so inappropriate since we didn't even acknowledge God. So I told them that I wouldn't be participating this year(2020), not to get me any gifts, and that I will be alone that day. I told them that I wasn't going to stop them from celebrating, I just can't be a part of it...my conscience wasn't having it. So Christmas Day, I stayed home and watched one of my favorite self-defense KZbinrs. He posted a video the day before about Jesus. After that hour long video, I started YouTubing every question that I had. Every time I found a video that I felt was well-rounded and truly helpful, I added it to a KZbin playlist called Christian Curriculum. Then I would just play that playlist, and when I would do that, I would get more questions and start googling and YouTubing. I ended up watching about a thousand videos, and the playlist kept going. I remember thinking like King Agrippa. That I was almost a Christian. I remember even telling my husband and a few friends. " I think that I'm about to become a Christian lol" Eventually, I couldn't deny it anymore. I remember one night just being overwhelmed and ready. Ready to submit, ready to follow, ready for a new heart. Now, I want to wake up. I want to serve and share the good news.

Ravi should have been investigated after the first allegations against him. The fact that he could tell his ministry, after the first victim came forward, that the allegations were false and that no investigations were needed, and the ministry just believed him and offered no investigation is a horrendous oversight. If someone has nothing to hide, they would welcome an investigation and trust in the Lord to shine the light of truth and exonerate them. If they deny that an investigation is needed, as Ravi did, it shows lack of transparency and shows that they are frightened and hiding something. ANYONE WHO IS INNOCENT WOULD WELCOME AN INVESTIGATION TO CLEAR THEIR NAME. PERIOD. It is the DUTY of any organization that requires faith and trust in their leaders (churches, schools, Boy Scouts, etc.) to pursue any allegations against the people in power they are asking others to trust. The truth will always come out and, if the organizations are complicit in hiding or covering up the truth, it destroys the whole reputation of that organization and makes it harder for ANYONE to ever trust them again. We need to start demanding transparency from these organizations and must require them to take all accusations seriously. Otherwise they are neglecting their duty to their members and potentially putting others in harm's way. May God bless and keep all His children.

Im noticing more and more pastors and preachers who insist on putting the title “Dr.” in front on their names. It bugs me a little as I think it detracts somehow from the message of God and puts the human accomplishment of a PhD at the forefront. It seems totally unnecessary to me and actually appears a little self serving.

One other thing to think about is that if you were to ask God about these accusations I figure he would likely respond with "what is that too you? You must follow me." It is not our sin if these accounts are true we must walk the path with Christ and not rely on man to be perfect. Also if it is true which one of us has not done such things in our thoughts which one of us has not sinned? We all have sinned and cannot by our own power make it to the kingdom of God. Some of you all might be wondering why I do not truly believe these accounts that is because it is not hard to pin crimes on a dead man even if only by taking the mans phone or paying someone to give false testimonies. To be accurate it is easy to get false testimonies on a living person who can fight the accusations whilst a dead man cannot.

I have to agree. My first thought was "he is only man, not Jesus himself." If you put so muvh faith into him, that is your own failing. While I enjoyed and adored his teachings, I never held him to a standard that sin wasn't possible. We as Christains (or many I should say) are quick to judge and have an opinion on this. I say it isn't my opinion to give. My discernment tells me something is very odd about all this and God has never failed me yet if I will be so bold.

In church part of marriage ministries we are taught never to talk or be alone the opposite sex. I see both fell did wrong by doing so, Both Lori and Ravi.This is called All need to REPENT AND ASK FOR FORGIVENESS. If she didn’t have a history of sexual abuse we would see this as both were wrong and not just one person. Both were adults. 💯Unfortunately Ravi’s family knew about allocations years before this last incident occurred and shamed and ridiculed the numerous women that had come forward. His ministry staff also knew about many allocations and didn’t confront Ravi biblically. I guess it would be difficult to cut off the $24 million that the ministry generated annually. Another point that is worthy of noting is the owning of many massage parlors by a pastor. Not saying that it’s necessarily condemned,, but is it wise?

Which one of your books did you address your concerns about Ravi and what exactly did you say? Because when he passed away you spoke about how impressed you was with his eloquence and ability to communicate the gospel with humility. You featured him in at least one of your videos, he spoke at your school, and I wouldn’t be surprised (though I don’t know for sure) if he is quoted or used as a source in your apologetics study Bible. I have an honest question. I ask this stating upfront that I have no read the reports regarding Ravi Zacharias. But, why is this only just now coming out about him if this has been going on for years among multiple women? It seems a little strange that this news would break free when he is no longer around to defend himself. Now, I'm not saying he is innocent. But our justice system is built upon the presumption of innocence. I realize that there is enough to where it doesn't look good and only sounds like it is getting worse. But do we actually know he was guilty of misconduct?
