I'm a foster parent, got my first batch of kiddos almost a year and a half ago! My wife and I 🤍 it's been challenging and emotional. Ages we got them (3,6,3 months) ages now (4,7, 1 1/2 years) and also just got the baby brother to my eldest two...hes 5 months, I love them as my own! They're my babies....just got the devastating news that the 3 siblings will be leaving us to a non-bioligical aunt. ☹☹

I absolutely love The Fosters. This song is so emotional for me. I found the show when I came into foster care. I am 18 now and still in the system. Kt sucks but I ha e learned a lot. I found my forever family whether they adopt me not not. I hear this song and think of them saying this to me. Brings tears to my eyes every time. It’s not easy just keep your head up. Feel blessed if you can sing this song and read its words envisioning your loving family. My whole life I've been wanting to feel like what the message in this chorus is saying. Not everyone has a life like this. Where others want to win the lottery or make it rich as their dream in life, some just want to belong, and be surrounded by love. Don't take that for granted. Ashley Pruitt It's okay. When I was 3 I was taken from my mom. I was in foster care for a year and then I my grandma decided to take me and my two siblings in with her. We lived with her until I was around 7 or 8, I'm not sure. Then we moved back with my mom and have been ever since :))

I was a foster child and I am now adopted. I am now 13 and I have been in foster care since I was 2 and I was adopted when I was 11. I am still finding things out about my birth parents to this day. I have visited my birth parents a couple of times but I don't really like them especially since I found out that I got taken away from them because they would leave me home alone in my crib and the neighbors found me and called CPS on my parents. My parents left me for drugs. But I am happy with my new family. Keep in mind I have been in 13 different homes untill I finally found the right family.😀😥👪

I honestly believe that the Fosters Has changed so many lives of foster kids and the way people look at them, we learn to respect them more and love them more. My fiancé was a foster kid until he aged out of the system, hes 19 now and he was through some really bad homes, he suffers from anxiety and Anger because of it now. But I believe it happened for a reason, it was God's plan for us to meet, and we bring each other so mucb happiness, I couldn't imagine life without him, It's a really beautiful song, I love the fosters!
