@@starbaby1754 Uhh it *is* true, especially for the older generation - I remember it used to be that 75% of US Americans did not have a passport. No idea what the current number is, but there are huuuge swathes of the country (beyond the big cities) where no one has ever left the USA. When I visited, people in those areas often said it was because they had everything they needed right there. Which may be true (based on the sheer size of the USA) but this is just a friendly reminder that, just because you *personally* aren't seeing something, does not mean it doesn't exist 😉

First time I saw you rocking the short hair, I thought “how beautiful”. Your face shape really works for short hair and bangs. I love seeing you with different hairstyles and how the different styles changes the vibe of your outfit. Side note: my mother was a hairstylist and she owned her salon. I basically grew up in the business and I have so many good memories. I use to hangout in my mother’s salon on Fridays & Saturdays, because most everyone was getting their hair done for some special event (weddings, parties, dances or just going out to eat). It was a very exciting place to be on the busy weekends. My mother was very beautiful and loved working in the beauty business. Like you, she followed her passion and her salon became very successful. She ran the salon until she was 83yo. She passed 1.5 years ago, but she left me with so many amazing memories. I suppose it’s one of the reasons I love your channel. You fill a void my mother left, when the salon closed and then made larger when she passed. Not only did you help me through my cancer/chemo journey, but you also keep me “in the know” of current fashion, makeup and all of the peripherals in the business of beauty. I bet you don’t know just how much you give to some of us, so I felt compelled to share this tidbit. Like my mom, you followed your passion and showed the world that beauty is more than skin deep, much more. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to both of you.

21:30 we have coco balls. My dad brings them back from Grenada/Trinidad. They’re a little smaller than the size of a golf ball. And a friend of mines gets the balls from a Jamaican store in S. London 😊 This pure, natural coco has great benefits.
