Since this is a suggestion video...maybe instead of spending $175 on a candle, buy one less expensive from Home Goods and donate the difference to your local utility companies for people who can't pay their heating bills this winter due to job loss. If you are still employed, please share the blessings with those who have lost their jobs this year.

Hi Karen. Thanks for this video. The great thing about the candles (particularly Diptyque) is that when they have burned down, you can repurpose them as chic mini flower vases or makeup brush holders. Once you buy Diptyque, you never go back. The boxes can be used as drawer liners to maximise the scent. Also, check out the British designer Bella Freud’s candles as they add a touch of Parisian chic to your home or Jo Malone for more subtle scents.

Trader Joe’s also has wooden bowls and charcuterie boards as well as paper baskets so you can just make a hostess gift basket or if you’re doing just a drop off gift exchange this year.

These items are also seasonal they get them each year for Christmas I just think they came early this year maybe a side effect of the pandemic.

That does seem odd, but I’ve not gone into any TJ’s in Manhattan or boroughs since mandatory masking (awful story but ADA laws are ignored & masking can be deadly for some of us w/ *real* disabilities, hubby does the shopping to keep me safe it’s *that* dangerous for me for more than 10-15 mins) so it’s possible they have things like that. I’m about 20 miles N of the Bronx you’d think we’d have the same things, but like I said even CT orders more variety food wise (about 60 miles N of the Bronx), very odd but I think it comes down to individual stores & who does the ordering. Puréed pumpkin has been out of stock for a month by me, no plans to reorder- crazy as it’s an American staple thru winter holidays! Plus pumpkin & sweet potatoes (so far no shortages🤞)are so healthy, I incorporate into our meals all year. All my in-laws live in the Midwest so I could always ask them to send if I need. I’m not in need (actually need to downsize, can’t clean like I used to be able to), but if you want might I suggest you donate as a gift to an org that helps people get back on their feet (prob due to losing a job during this mess) or a shelter? I’m sure it’d make someone in need very happy! Even a donation of pet food can help a food pantry or shelter (many now overrun as people can’t afford to feed their fur babies) so many are having a hard time. Or giving to your local food pantry? Those things make me very happy! I’m sorry you’re having a bad day, having too many myself. I love Lilysilk. One of the best things is that their white silks are true white, most silks advertised as white are that dingy ivory color, which doesn’t look as good with my skin tone.
