I'm reading the comments and want to put this out there for people all over the world starting with my hometown NYC. This video is stirring up feelings of nostalgia and longing, but I want you all to go deeper than that and recognize what is truly in your heart, what you are "missing" and then realize the truth of this situation we are facing together. We are social beings, beings that create, beings that move, beings that can enchant and most of all beings that are filled with LOVE. We crave and seek out affection and CONNECTION that is TRUE and HONEST and we do so in a variety of ways. We are not cold or distant, we are not separate even when we are millions of miles away from friends and family or strangers (who are people we have yet to converse with ). ALL separation is ILLUSION. What you are feeling here and now watching this is CONNECTION. The IMPORTANCE of CONNECTION rings now in a deeper way. If your heart is touched and you hear what is is calling for, then the real CHALLENGE is to now channel those feeling and CONNECT. WE WILL EMERGE STRONGER, WE WILL RETURN BRIGHTER. WE WILL HAVE GROWN CLOSER because this time has stripped us bare of artifice and shallow feeling that our personal fears have on trapped us in. KINDER, more LUMINOUS BEINGS ARE WE and that is how WE WILL EMERGE from this if we so CHOOSE. The UNIVERSE is teaching us great lessons of LOVE and CONNECTION. Be not afraid and feel the TRUTH of our CONNECTION. p. s. Karen thank you for your service in helping people during this time and for the willingness to step outside of your comfort zone to have changed your life and created this channel.. It is so much more than fashion and this out pouring from those who have commented during this tower moment of introspection proves it.

I've just turned sixty and my husband and sons treated me to a quarantine birthday🎂 I loved the "what people are wearing" videos.I'm probably older than most of the people following you, but I'm not letting age trump style. Having sons in their twenties keeps me current. She used to have a very high profile job in Chicago and she loved and still loves fashion, her closet is amazing! Every Wednesday, I get ice cream from a local shop ( wearing a mask, one customer at a time ) and we sit and eat our ice cream, in her home and watch these videos. We watch one a week and I have to tell you that it gives her so much pleasure. Still at 92, she is interested in fashion and she has great unique style! I just want to say thank you! xo

Isn't it amazing the things you now Miss? The smells, the sounds, the noise, the movements of all the things that surround and are around us. No matter what city or state or country you live in I think the main thing that is universal is we miss people! Big or small, young or old and all the beautiful shades of color that they're wrapped in! I think not being able to see them as I once did has changed my whole outlook and attitude... And hopefully for the better. I will definitely think differently about hearing people laugh, holler, whisper or scream and about people just being people.
