What everyone is wearing in New York, summer trends 2020 video is finally up! As always this is about how to find your personal style while watching the style of others or at least get some outfit inspiration. There are a few gems who really show how to make a mask work with their look as well. As I always say, these episodes have never been about fashion week street style. This series is a snap shot of how people are showing their personal style, regardless of DIY face masks or otherwise. It's about understanding how to find your own style and how to dress on a budget and be yourself. See how some show you how to look stylish with basics and how some always look chic and put together, wearing a face mask or not! Again this was so inspiring. To be honest: I had to cry for a moment, because I miss New Yorl so much. Due to the Covid-situation I was of course unable to do my annual summer trip to NYC this year and to see the city combing back to life makes me happy, but at the same time also sad, because I am so far away in Germany. For me there is no other place as inspiring as New York...Thank you for bringng at least some pictures from the streets of New York to my home.

Although I doubt I could tell you the provenance of most of my clothes (with some exceptions), people who care about fashion know where every item comes from. Is it really episode 14? Dang! I really like what the young lady did as a quick fix for the oversized thrifted men blazer. I might just try something like that with a hand sew. I just got to find one that a little more flowy material, I think all the ones I thrifted so far are mostly wool and stiffer. Why did you not show any of the art the young man was showing at the event? There were a lot of pieces I would have loved to have in my closet. My favorites were the lady that altered her blazer and those pants (almost make me think back to brit inspired trousers back in the 60s), the whole loose fit white linen top and pants, denim apron and the black and white large print short set.
