Why are there four "Gospels"? For example there is only one Torah; the one revealed by God to Prophet Moses (pbuh). Likewise, there should be only one Gospel, the Gospel/Injeel revealed by God to Prophet Jesus (pbuh). Anything coming from anyone else does not qualify as Scripture.

All the revelations were written by disciples after the prophet who told the life story of the prophet, which is why we have the biblical stories of Adam, Abraham, Moses, David, and Jesus. Jesus is the most important, which is why we have the 4 gospels and the entire New Testament.

@@peterhwang352 Since Jesus is the most important, 4 Gospels are not enough! There should be at least 10, if not 100; all of them differing and contradicting each other. Revelation is Guidance for the people to whom the Prophet was sent, not stories about Prophets. Its funny to think that the Prophets were telling stories about themselves to their Disciples. And why would Jesus need Revelation since according to Christians he is God himself? Why would he need to send Revelation to himself? Doesn't make sense at all. We all know that none of the 4 "Gospels" are from Jesus. According to Christians the "Gospel" writers, whoever they were (since we know from the Christian Scholars that they are anonymous) were supposed to have been inspired ("Luke" tells us he wrote because many others were writing and it seemed good to him also to do so, ie. nothing to do with inspiration). Also since Jesus is God, he would know how to write, so why would he need disciples to write for him? Instead of relating 4 stories about himself to 4 writers who managed to get things wrong, he could have saved everyone the bother and write just one Gospel free from human errors and contradictions.

Mark was a witness. He was a young man who lived in Jerusalem during the ministry of Jesus. His mother's house was a meeting place for the earliest believers. Acts 12. He was a close associate of both Peter and Paul, and cousing to Barnabbas. There is no better reporter on everything that happened. The Bible records the names of famous people, places, events so there is no doubt about timing and geography, context. Quran provides none of that, just commentary on previous literary works. That is why they had to invent hadith centuries later to fill in all the missing details.

Firstly, don't insult others simply because you are angry with your own religion's lack of evidence. Secondly, the reason you are confused is because you do not have the original Gospels, and do not appreciate the importance of having scripture in its original composition and in it's original language. "Injeel" is what was given to Jesus (peace be upon him) by God. The "Gospels" according to "Matthew, Mark, Luke, John" (who are anonymous--we do not have their biography or know who they are) are not the Injeel. They are not what was given to Jesus. As for the Torah. That was the scripture given to Moses (peace be upon him). What we have today is not the Torah. And not even the Jews claim that. They themselves tell you that what they have is a compilation of what their scholars have written and collected over the years along with parts of the Torah. It is not 100% reliable.
