Thanks for doing the work for me. I drink Oat Yeah because it's available at my store the most. Oat-Ly is delicious but it has oil added which I would rather consume from roasting or sauteing vegetables than milk.

Just going to put this out there, great video but I would take this with a grain of salt. Everyone loves a different oat milk, one person could love it and another would want to vomit. It depends on the person, the only way you’ll know for sure is if you try it yourself.

I love the oatly made to put in coffee (the grey package), but second place goes to the blue oatly you have in the video 😍so weird that you don't have the organic oatly, even Norway with few brands to choose from has that one 🥰

My opinion, for those on the hunt for the perfect oat milk: I loved the regular Oatly one(first oat milk I’ve tried), it was creamy with a delicious oat flavor. The second one I’ve tried was the original one by planet oat(not in this video). I tried planet oat because I happened to see it in another KZbin video, and they rated it second after Oatly. I found planet oat to be equally as delicious as the Oatly. It’s creamy with an oaty flavor. While I can taste the difference in the oat flavor between the two, I really love them both, and don’t think I’d have a problem if I could only get either or. Now tonight, because of this video, I bought the silk oat yeah, and I just found the taste so off putting that I couldn’t even focus on the texture or anything else. I can’t quite describe the taste, but it’s not the same oaty taste I got from the other two. Like you get an aftertaste of oats and some nasty flavor in the back of your throat. Basically, I hate the silk one.

Oatly always wins :) I was devastated trying Quaker's oat milk - You'd think they'd have the best one ... not so much. I'll have to try Califia's oat milk next :)

I've only tried the low fat oatly and was not as big of a fan as I am of other milks (almond, coconut, cashew). All the talk about whole milk and 2% made me realize we only had 1% growing up so on the rare occasion I did use milk in something that's what I had, so I'm not familiar will needing to replace the thick/creaminess of whole milk.

I had heard so much about oatmilk and then saw it for the first time my grocery store and bought it, but it was the Quaker oat brand and ngl it just tasted like oatmeal blended... and it wasn’t even creamy😂 but I’m really happy to hear your guy’s opinions about all the different brands bc since then my grocery store has brought in some more options!

Oatly is hands down my favorite, though I've only tried it, Silk, and Quaker Oats. I think the Silk was okay for me. The Quaker Oats was surprisingly bad for an oats company.

As far as I can remember... Silk Oat Yeah! is the only oat milk I've ever purchased, mostly because I really love almond milk. I thought the Silk Oat Yeah! tasted ok, but I felt like I could taste the oil they add to it. I tried it in my Hot Chocolate (2 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon maple syrup

I wonder why oat milk didn’t come out long time ago, before almond milk. Its creamier and more nutritious. Our family have been buying whatever brand that is cheapest we see at the store. Cannot go wrong with oat milk :) Love the intro, Why have goat milk when you can have oat milk!

I relatively new to the oatmilk game ( about a year) for the first 9 months was Oatly or nothing ( fir me it has to be creamy and silky because I mainly use it for lattes and chai lattes). A few months ago tried planet oat( extra creamy original) I liked it but and was still thinking I liked Oatly better until I tried ten side by side... now I think that planet oat is number 1 Oatly is number 2 with Califia barista blend( the regular it’s awful) and Chiobani is number 3 ( great for those looking for a less sweet but still creamy option)

Planet Oat, Chobani Oat Milk and Friendly Farms (Aldi) Oatmilk. Oatley is definitely King of the oat milks though. I am just as happy with any of these three though. Silk Oat Milk is alright - definitely a neutral - a little watery....just like all Silk products....watery and lacking flavor. Califia and Oatsome are the worst two I have tried. Haven't tried Elmhurts yet - the price point just gives me a stomach ache.

I don't like Oatly, because I get pukey from it. Oats don't belong in cardboard containers. I like Califia the best (I guess like Hannah), because I like the planty-fresh tastes in my animal alternatives - as that's why I'm vegan - for the vegan taste. Califia tastes like a fresh harvest, like the oats just came out of the ground with the sun and earth and I'm really tasting the inside of an oat that is trying to give me its nutrients. I guess I'm just an outdoors person that like to roll in the mud - what can I say?

They're added as a thickener. That's why they're so thick especially the barista kind.

it's really gross and coats the tongue - it's not even eco- either - plants should be intact ("whole"). That's why it's best to make it at home - as we get what we pay for - we put the power into companies to choose for us. I actually think it has to do with being shelf stable - the oil probably lets it not degrade the container as much.

This strange plant milk spoils the flavour of my coffee and cause bloating. Soy milk and almond milk are a lot worse and make me feel unwell. You seem like really nice people but I'm not a fan of the fake milks are fake food.

possum 1 it’s definitely not fake food. It comes from a naturally grown crop & is blended with water at its core. Store bought milks, like some cow milks, have preservatives in order to be kept on the shelf longer. If you find irritation you could try making your own plant milks and seeing if that works for you. If not, I would urge you to try other options such as hemp milk (super quick to make at home) & coconut milk.

@@kasenalane1723 They are fake foods in the sense that they are masquerading as real milk. They are weak imitations. Real milk by definition is dairy. At most, these drinks should be called nut derived beverages. They are derived via more complex processing, which is less natural than getting milk straight from a cow. store bought milks in Australia, where I live, don't contain preservatives.
