Big difference between American enormous houses and gigantic bathrooms versus renovations of a small inner suburban home in Melbourne (Troye) and old home in England (Lily and David), each built 100+ years ago. I would vote one for Troye's on cleaning effort alone.

KITCHENS NEXT! Kitchens can be so beautiful and unique, but have to be functional. Though not everyone cooks, so some will be purely for looks… but I would love to see gorgeous and super well-functioned design for someone who actually cooks. Curious if there’s a copper or wood refrigerator in any of your choices, that would be unique. Or what fancy gadgets and hidden storage can happen in islands or cabinets. Ok, I love kitchens. I think they are tied with bathrooms for my favorite rooms in a house. P.S. I LOVED Vanessa’s cave bathroom.

Rochelle’s pick feels developed from travel and like a home. So despite the vibe might not being everyone’s cup of tea at first glance ( mine included) it had life. I have to be careful about the plants I use in my house due to cats, but plants (even fake, but mostly real) can bring life to a space. Which Rochelle’s pick displayed.

Hah, I love Troy's bathroom. I just love the shade of the marble and the walls. FYI, in Europe toilet is usually a separate room and the reason why it's genius is SMELL. Those little hanging doors can give you some privacy, but still if you have to use the toilet while your partner is bathing... not nice :D

The bathroom choices had range so that's interesting to see all of your guy's tastes and dislikes...I would totally agree that Justina's place won, it is an earthy bathroom that you can relax in with good design choices. Justina's bathroom is PERFECTION. I love the bright colours, the different tiles for the main room and the shower. Green's my favourite colour so I wouldn't swap the main bathroom tiles out with the shower tiles. It feels like a home instead of a hotel. Although Jesse's bathroom does come a close second (more fancy slick LA home vibes than hotel vibes). Then 3. Troye Sivan, 4. Vanessa Hudgens, 5. Amber Benson, 6. Lily Allen.

The last one with the cages I love the bathtub/steam room side well except for the toilet being out but the other side yes with the window but it looks like it’s two different bathrooms styles plus maybe it’s the filming but it look like lights on each side of the mirror/window are a different heights and it throws me off and also that side looks definitely like a hotel room bathroom. My favorite of all of them was and I don’t know these people at all but the one with the saloon doors for the toilet and I like the wallpaper it’s just out there enough that I love it and I’m old

Um, it bugs me that they said Troy’s shower was in his tub. There was definitely a drain in the floor, a shower handle on the opposite side of the room from the bathtub’s, and a space between the glass and the marble on the side of the tub.

Don’t like that second bathroom that you have to walk through the shower to get to the tub, I find that very strange and rain fall showerheads are not good if you want to not have it on your head or face you have to actually step out or bend over if you want a breather so if you step out you’ll get colder or if you need a breather and been down out of it in your butt sticking out. Not a fan of pink either in bathrooms maybe it’s because I grew up with pink in the bathroom.

As for rain shower heads, face it - in most luxury showers there's MULTIPLE options and controls. That means when you want to protect your hair from getting wet you use the wand or the side massage sprinklers, and save the rain shower for those meditative or fresh outdoorsy moods. Also nite that most luxury bathrooms have controlled temperature so you're unlikely to find your bum sticking out and shivering. As for me, I am not a big fan of any of them. But there were several unexpected and original ideas. As a designer myself, I wouldn't be proud to put any of these on AD or KZbin.

I actually LOVE Lily Allen's bathroom, except instead of carpet I'd have the same design in tile. I just love the boudoir vibe, it feels so 1800s but super boujee, and I love that. The winner was also SUCH a stunning bathroom! I love that this has thrown in ideas I wouldn't have even thought of. Honestly, those Swan taps, I adore.

once you've gone through all the rooms you should have an episode where it's a favourite random thing in an AD house tour. like you noticed something very unique in the house (like a juilet balcony or secret tunnel or some super interesting decor) and so everyone mentions a different weird feature/thing

I really liked the bathroom with the carpet in it. Obviously, I don't like carpet in a bathroom, but the style gave it a victorian look. But even if it had been tile, it would've been too cold, although it probably would've been the better option. I even liked the different patterns together. They didn't clash in my opinion. It just looked so nice, and although it wasn't cozy it was definitely classy

Another take I see for the "I travel so much" concept, isn't because they like living in a hotel I think it's more that's all the inspiration they see. And outside of hotels all the homes they see are other celebrities that also travel a lot. So I feel like it's an endless cycle of that's all the design they experience. I think this still counts for Ashley too, she was inspired by the type of lifestyle she has. They have to get comfortable living in hotels.

Ashley Benson’s cages with the toilet on display are similar to a hotel I just stayed in in Seoul. It was one bathroom, with a regular pocket door, but the shower and toilet were separated and had doors. Clear glass doors. So you could see yourself on the toilet in the mirror over the vanity. Also, if you’re with your family of people who barge in rooms, you’re on full display behind this glass door. It was awkward to say the least.

The 1st bathroom- I believe the light shining thru the green color of the tempered glass that is changing the pink walls to that greyish-whatever color it ends up as. I'm betting the nighttime color of that room reads pink all over. Depending of coarse, on what color light bulbs are used.
