This is exactly the kind fo information I need. We still have walmart blue claws in my area (NY state) and we have sugar loafs at our Walmart's too. Kmart has Sugar Loaf and so do most grocery stores. The grocery store chain Tops here has Sugar Loaf. I had a bad time with the UFO catchers that I have seen, they did not have gettable prizes which I verified with some other people by showing pictures of the machines I have near me, thankfully I didn't waste money trying. I also hear plush bus is good, and I have seen them around here. I also had a good experience with what I believe was a red, older style grayhound claw like the one Matt used to have, this claw had a red LED display showing how many credits you had on it.

My sister beat one that had plushes too small for the claw to pick up. Basically she just found a spot with a lot of smaller ones close by and picked up enough of them that the claw machine couldn't drop them all.

ive had a lot of success with the sega claws at my local walmarts. not the ufo btw. its named the sega and also the other sega called the gameplay

My local movie theater just got rid of a few games (mostly shooting and others) but they replaced their keymaster with a import crane. The movies had 1 pinnacle claw but its super rigged and $1 per play but it a drop claw. The import claw is a jewerly claw with licensed plush that is too big to even grab a part of the plush plus itsa dollar a play :(

Good stuff! Ive enjoyed these past few videos. Next thing you should look into is regional variance in fixed strength claws. Here in STL it seems like sugarloaf machines are nothing like what other people post videos of. Do you think that depending on your area and who has your route that these machines change?

ufo catchers are based more around dragging/flipping/manipulating the item you want to get, rather than grabbing it like most machines. at least thats what they are mostly like in japan and other countries. thats also why they are more expensive than other machines, because in japan/other countries they stock the machine with things worth way more than the cheap plushes in the states. things like high-end plush, figures, video games, etc. now i cant say ALL ufo catchers are like this, but the ones i have seen getting played are, at least in my experience?

Toy Solider has all the bells and whistles...they can adjust claw strength, lift strength, and even run a payout.....it will vary on operator

They aren't rigged but are very hard pending on the size of the claw cause I think it varies and the prize placement laying down is easy standing up not as easy

This guy needs to do his homework , the blue cranes are formally rainbow cranes now made by Sugarloaf itself also using the term "payout rate" to describe non skill based games is not correct. All games have a payout rate , for example a 100% skill based skee ball redemption game will have a payout rate setting in the manual, this dose not mean the game is rigged. It means they tested the game on location and found ticket payout settings that come close to certain %s

I know who makes them, never said who they were? I've done plenty of homework. I don't use "payout" and non-skill together. When a claw drops the prize until a set rate is hit that's payout and it's 100% riggage and unfair. I assume you must be an operator lol

+ClawStruck just when you look in a manual and see the word "payout rate" don't assume the game is rigged like in the case of road trip(that game is just dumb and try's to fix its problems with mystery miles) , if you see a setting for number of games till payout then yeah it's rigged. Be warned without the cpu payout games the arcades will die, and cranes will be back to strictly $1 plush sad but true

Yea we went back TWICE looking for that game! That thing is amazing. I agree just because the operator "can" set a payout doesn't mean they will. Like I said in the video most (assuming yourself) operators are fair. (lol on the mystery miles)
