Albania is so criminally underrated. Before visiting I had no idea how beautiful the country actually is. Especially on the coast. It’s gorgeous. People are awesome. Well behaved, well spoken and most of them speak great English. My stay in Albania was way better than my stay in France just for comparison. Truly inlove with this country and it’s people 🤪

They utilize their pensions better migrating in Albania and the place is not so much culturally distant for them to feel alien as a lot of them speak italian and other similarities. Albanians are only 4% of Greece’s population but I used to have many Albanian classmates when I went to school (I am 18, I finished last year). Arvanites are our Balance Point, a strong and old Connection between Albanians and Greeks. Two populations that fight together in 1821. Older generations of the greek society were cautius and racist towards the immigrants from Albania, i saw that growing up from all the stereotypes that were around. In my point of view, we are like the same thing. Culture, ethics, traditions etc are more or less the same. My best friend is from Albania and when i met his parents and we talked about albanian traditions etc i was like "dude thats the same thing in here". The reasons behind bad relations had always to do with politics, not with the people. At least thats how i ve come to understand it.

There are Albanians for example with DNA 70% Greek, 25% Balkanik and 5% others and there are Greek with DNA 60% Balkanik, 30% Greek and 10% others. We havent to confound Nationality with ethnicity. In general here in Ballkans we are very mixed between us, all very similar. So we have to live in peace cause we are a big ancient family. Personally i dont hate no population, neither Turks, neither Serbians, etc 💪💪💪

(although Turkey's politicians want our lands...) Greek media spread misinformation to people... Well it is a surprise because as far as I know there are many Albanians who believe that Epirus belongs to Albania (of course that is wrong) and also harass or not even recognise the Greek minority in Nothern Epirus. Moreover, there is a problem about the "history" that Albanians learn and believe. I have seen an Albanian "historian" on Albanian TV claiming all Greeks are "Albanians", distorting the events of Greek war of independence, and claim that even our former president Tsipras was Albanian (what a joke). It is a shame when there can be people of both sides that ruin the relationship Albania and Greece can have. I believe we we are close with each other but these kind of issues need to be solved.

So I supposed that you see us as enemies and we would be the last country that you would vote positively. Absolutely, all Albanians from Albania have a relative in Greece, they listen to Greek songs, eat Greek food: Souvlakis, Gyros etc, ecen Muslim Albanians have Fast... Also, in the south you would think you are in Greece, because their culture is 99% the same as Greeks no matter their religion all of them love Greece... But, in Kosovo, Montenegro and North Macedonia. Albanians there do not have any relatives in Greece, don't live or go there, do not travel to Greece on vaccations, do not meet Greeks, so they are more NEUTRAL to Greece. That saud, they mostly love Germany, Austria, Swiss, Turkey, and Italy. 1) Germany, because they have a lot of relatives there, learn German in schools, travel and visit relatives in Germany, Austria, Swiss and some in Italy. Tey go there for a better life after 19 😂, and we are more connected to Germany, Seiss Austria and Italy. 2. Turkey) Because, Albanians from Fyrom, Kosovo, MNE are nearly 95% Muslim, and *VERY RELIGIGIOUS* compared to Albanians from Albania... There alao are 6-7 million Albanians in Turkey. Me, myself have a lot of family members in Instanbul, Izmir and Bursa (that in Bursa out of 2 million people 900.000 are Albanians), they are in Turkey for more than 60 years and still speak Albanian. And we go there yearly, (I mean us Albanians from Macedonia, From Kosovo and Montenegro). I myself am from Tetovo (FYROM) and half from Kosovo. I personally liked Greece and Greeks as a Kid. I visited Greece on August 2012 with my family and didn't know that there were a plenty of Albanians immigrants from Albania in Greece 😂. I liked Greek language, Music, Culture, food, people, sea, cities and the Country. Before of age 15 I thought that Greeks and Labanians are like brothers, since there are 1 million Albanians in Greece as well as Arvanites (ancient Albanians, from 10 century in Greece) and 2 non-Alavic Balkan countries. When I turned 16. I started to watch videos about Albania. I saw A LOT OF HATE from Greeks and Serbs. I was almost shocked!!! Because, I didn't know that there was an animosity between Albanians and Greeks! As well as I didn't know that Serbs are hostile to us, even though they killed,raped,expelled, discriminted a millions of us! As an Albanian I KNEW that they have commited attrocities on my nation, but I didn't had hate towards them! But, however... Also, there are a lot of differences between Albanians in Albania and those from Ex-Yugoslavia, in terms of culture, religion, mentality etc. In Albania people love Greece and Italy almost everyone.
