Because Japanese men quite similar to italian men. For example, dark hair, both italian and japanese men have dark hair. Light skin, both also have light skin, in term of color, it's pretty similar. Most people if they were to date outside their race, they usually go for someone that look similar to their own people. A dark hair european have quite a lot of similar to japanese men. Dark hair and light skin combo, both japanese men and italian have it.

@@wingedflyingforce5139 it's the opposite, Africans are overrepresented in cinema and media. ethnicity can designate a common genetic ancestry (in France). but I agree there is the race (Caucasian / European for example) then the ethnic sub-branch, Irish, Russian, Breton etc ..., but I am French and in France the race does not really have a meaning we talk more about ethnicity
