Hey, AXA coverage that you explained here is not accurate. AXA covers loss of luggage, travel delays, among others. I myself were able to process claim due to flight delays under AXA Phils

Yes, it's refundable po. You'll have to provide the refusal letter if ever. But if you'll be working, I think you'll have to get a travel insurance that adheres to the national standards in Poland.

Hi Smritree! You can choose to buy other travel insurance. :) Usually, the embassies release a list of recommended insurance companies that fit the Schengen requirements, so do check them first before purchasing from other insurance companies

I've tried the following: -Safetywing (2022) -Axa Schengen (2021) -PGA (2019, 2020) All were approved. Currently, the Swiss Embassy in Manila isn't accepting Safetywing due to its 250 USD deductible.

Hi! I think there won't be problems with buying an insurance with longer duration. When applying with some countries (for example, Italy in the Philippines), you're required to have an additional 15 days of travel insurance

It is always best to have all confirmed bookings. There are hotels that allow you to pay at the property though. I make sure that I have copies of all documents that O submitted for my visa application.

Both Safetywing and Axa-schengen are international companies. The ones in the list are locally accredited in the Philippines. I've used both but my applications were submitted to Switzerland.

@@artlaurent I'm not sure how strict the Greek Embassy is. Some embassies like the Italian Embassy is strict. They require that travel insurance be from the list given + an additional 15 days. Others are quite lenient. If you can give them a call that would be great.
