I use Staples printing service. 22 cents per copy. So much cheaper than throwing away dried up ink after 2 copies. I only make 1 copy a year on average.

It is not certain that maintenance records on a car will do you any good. The dealerships that I've dealt with never looked at them. For the last vehicle that I've gotten rid of, the transmission went out. No dealership wanted the car. I sold it to a neighbor for $1,100, even though it had been problem free for eleven years. The cost to replace the transmission was the kicker, $4,200.

You should keep any paid loan statements. When you pay off your mortgage, make sure the bank/mortgage company cancels the Deed of Trust/ Mortgage with the appropriate county it is recorded in. Sometimes that important document doesn’t get cancelled

So we do NOT need to keep any mortgage/refi/house sale info once the home is sold.... - correct? I have a house that we sold in 2020 with 2 refi's and I still have ALL of that homes info (original purchase, refi's, and final sale) in my filing cabinet.

Why don't people have printers at home? Everyone I know use them on a regular basis

Nope. I have a printer and rarely print a doc. One cartridge of ink is more expensive than the printer.

@@sharontabor7718 I know far, far, far more that use them than don't. And it looks like the business is still doing well. There still a ton available at stores. If no one used them (or the vast majority didn't) , then they would be like other old tech and made in limited to no quantities.
