I just got the new Zidoo UHD5000, replaced my Zappiti, it comes with a Realtek RTD1619BPD chip, which I think is newer then the Realtek RTD1619DR chip, the UHD3000 had that chip, the UHD5000 replaced that model. This player has played back every ISO I tried, even ISO's that my Zappiti wouldn't play. The Menu system and Poster wall is way better then Zappiti. Give the newer 2023 Zidoo's a try.

My Zidoo has the same chip and the menus are a 50/50 chance. Most mainstream movie menus don't work. What was said in the video above is accurate.

I’m looking to add a dedicated streamer. I liked what you showed on the 4k pro solo with the Rtd chip. I liked the onboard hdd bay also. So I can get 1 new for $359 wanting your opinion’s is it worth it. It’s actually discontinued now since they’ve come out with the 8k version but for $550 I’m not really interested in it. Should I be looking more at the zidoo, shield, zippiti, or something else in and around $300 range. I have no knowledge or background using iso files but very interested in it. Thanks for your thoughts
