i think tara should be ranked above taylor because they both can reboot and if I'm honest, reading minds does minimal good in the hunger games, especially if you have to be touching. Tara could destroy a whole team from afar with illusions; weapons in hand and someone made to look like tara, the person they are trying to kill, is not a good mix

Actually it's exhibited in the first book that Taylor has the ability to deep dive into your mind, but that was when there was a lot of electricity in the air making the flow easier for her to do it

Q is teased to be one of the strongest of the 17. Hatch himself says q vs torsten would be devastating. Q can also generate small bursts of electricity shown in that same scene. My guess is the emp is just how he learned to use his power. After all electro magnetism has to be generated from actual electricity.

Honestly depending on whether Michael is in god mode or not, it think he could be defeated. There are 5 characters worth noting to take down Michael, these being Taylor, Torstyn, Zara, and two support characters in Tessa and Tara. Torstyn could melt Michael's brain before he gets close and Taylor could permanently make him a babbling idiot from a distance. Tessa could support, and Tara could be useful if Michael makes allys. Finally, Zara could take these 4's powers and take down michael. Also not much of a spoiler but at the start of the 8th book Michael says that he lost most of the power from the lightning strike so it's not a given he would be in god mode.

What do you mean there are no planes for Tanner to take down, what do you think the capitals hovercrafts are! They have one every night for the death toll, not to mention the ones that actually enter the arena to collect the dead. He can definitely get those. Also zara doesn't just take powers, she improves them. Where Taylor has to touch you to read your mind zara doesn't. Where McKenna makes light and heat zara makes strait up fire, where Kylee magnetically attracts stuff zara can use magnets to levitate !! Also Zeus would die in a rainstorm, just saying.

There's one I found called Pulse by Patrick Carman, it gives me a similar vibe to Michael Vey, and is honestly a good series in general. It has 2 sequels called Tremor and Quake. I think you should check them out.

Honestly that's a tough one. Michael and Taylor are the most developed. McKenna and Ostin, and Jack and Abi they're about the same. But I think I like Zeus and Tessa the best, because it's kinda in the background and not too focused on, but it's there and doesn't cause too much drama.
