I feel that you understated the value of sapphire. The print runs are very low and if you look at baseball, the sapphire historically does great. I personally invest in the sapphire because I also think they look better

Great point SwagKing1972. I definitely may have understated Sapphire's value. I think Sapphire holds as much value as regular Chrome in general, but was trying to make the point that when buying singles, many new investors may not realize that Sapphire is it's own set, thus a Sapphire Base card is generally not necessarily as valuable as a Topps Chrome Refractor, if that makes sense. Different situations will occur where this isn't the case, but I could see some people getting it twisted and thinking, "oh, that card looks cool, it must be a short print of some sort," when really it's a Sapphire base card. So overall I agree with you on Sapphire's value, but want people to know the difference when buying singles as investments. That said, you got me thinking about what the initial hobby box price of 2020 Topps Chrome F1 was and what the initial price of 2020 Topps Chrome F1 Sapphire was. This thread on Blowout seems to say that the original hobby box price of 2020 Topps Chrome F1 was $100???? Is this true? www.blowoutforums.com/showthread.php?t=1404567 If so, that's crazy. Those, as we all know, are now $5k a box. As far as Sapphire, not sure what 2020 F1 Topps Chrome Sapphire released at, because they were only for Montgomery Club Members, but a year ago, they were $139 for Montgomery Club Members and a year ago on the secondary markets they were $800-$900 a hobby box. Also something to consider. There were no autos in this release. So that's another reason why buying sealed wax isn't as recommended of an investment from my POV. They're now going for around $4k - $5k. So if I had to pick between the two, regular 2020 Topps Chrome F1 is the way I'm going, due to the auto possibilities.

What’s the difference between the rookie freshest and the normal base rookie is the base rc more valuable ? Is the freshest a insert

@@IsGAdrian the regular portraits carry more value. The freshest is an insert set for some of the younger drivers and rookies. Many consider it to be the next best to the base portrait for George Russell, lando.

Hello I have a psa 10 Yuki negative, it’s a negative but psa had a typo and put chartreuse, I picked up the card on eBay is the card worth more or does the typo not affect the card in any way?

Hey, thanks for watching and commenting. Great card and great question. The typo won't affect the value of the card, but I'd consider sending it back to PSA to have them label it correctly. That way when you sell it, the buyer knows exactly what they're getting.

You get four exclusive parallels and still have a chance at other SPs and serial numbered cards, refractors, etc. No guaranteed auto, but a good more at the price point. Print quality is the worst do on those. Very poor edges. I have send some russell and norris ones to psa. But I dont think they will do very good.

Nice overview. I also like the Track Tags insert in 2020 Chrome. Not as valuable as base drivers but the look is cool, very colorful like Downtowns and Color Blast, and if they stick with this insert in multiple years maybe the popularity will grow

I think if you're concerned about the value dipping (which I don't think it will) or simply want to cash out for other reasons, like to invest in something else or need money to pay bills or something, I'd say you'd get your money back, but probably not much more than that right now. Personally, I think the 2021 Topps Chrome F1 Hobby Boxes will eventually get to around $2k ... it may take a year or so, but I think it will happen.

The thing is I paid 500 it would be easy to break it at 500 as I'm sure I get 500 back out in singles ...but given I can sell it for 1k that's a 100% gain to sell it. It's always the question with any card product given how much boxes climb Do you think the odds are I gain 1k in cards or would I shoot myself in the foot? Given I have not followed much on the singles market I dono where values lie And your very welcome. Your video is extremely useful and is helping me make and informed dission

My experience is that Base Sapphire is misleading though. For new F1 investors, Base Sapphire can appear special or short-printed, but it's not. Sapphire SP refractors and / or serial numbered refractors though, yes definitely, you're right. I'm not sure the data says Sapphire is the focus as of yet. Why do you feel its undervalued? Love the "Avoid: Mazepin! / Latifi" - my 12 year old son made a joke to me the other day that the only reason he knows who Latifi is is because of the F1 video game with Latifi being the only driver he could see, because Latifi was always in second to last and my son was always in last. :) Agree on being super safe buying Hamilton, Max and Charles... Do you think it's a good time to buy Lewis if there's a dip in pricing due to performance with the car this year? @@PaulHickey Hey :) Yes, I would always but Hamilton but I am also a fan of him since 2007 ;) I think he is the GOAT, he holds nearly every important record and in some years a documentation of him will be released. I think he is (in my opinion) the safest bet. But in F1 it is also all about hype, Vettel won 4 championships and his cards are not even nearly as high prices as charles cards, who has "just" won two races this season
