Which Friend Point CEs Should You Keep?

4MLB Battle of Camlann, 4 MLB Dragons Meridian, and 1 MLB Hydra Dagger are all I kept around for 3* CEs that are not tied to an event.

Aren't 4 Camlann and 4 Meridians too many? 4 Camlann would only really be useful if you run 4 taunters +1 single DPS you really want alive, but even then, wouldn't running at least one support alongside the DPS be better? As for 4 Meridians, even running a full team of 5* servants, you should still have enough cost left to replace one or two of the 4 meridians with Imaginary Elements.

@@Jack_Rakan MLB stands for "Max level break" so its not 4 copies its a single level 4 copy.

@@NotSpecialDude I know MLB stands for max level break, and the reason people do that is to get the increased effect on the CE. And feeding 4 other copies of a CE to itself automatically raises that CE to 11 at a minimum. So yeah "4 MLB" can only really mean "4 separate copies of the CE, each Max Limit Broken"

Ryudoji Temple, 30% starting NP and 15% NP Damage at MLB. Usually my go to if I have a few extra points of cost left

honestly just the 50 charge ce. evade and buff up chance are ones I would keep myself. even without aoi Mama's art on it could have fun uses with space Ishtar and units who have chance based buffs.

I find myself using MLB Ryudoji Temple a lot on my Spishtar when I’m running out of party cost and it’s good enough. With her Append + 50% Battery, she gets full NP gauge & +15% NP Strength. I realize this is relatively niche since it ideally wants a 50% battery AND append skill 2, but there’s quite a few SSR servants (who only need Bond 6 for an append) with a 50% Battery that can appreciate it in high-cost teams.

I would also add Jeweled Sword Zelretch. 40% starting charge and 10% NP Gain MLB is rather good buff, especially now, when we have append skills (it's 50% starting NP only with Mana Load Unlocked). While we all would prefer something like Magical Girl of Sapphire, sometimes you need low cost CE to fill the gaps, and putting Jeweled Sword Zelretch will give you relative good effects (of course according to CE rarity and cost).

I could not bear to part with any of my CEs. I think I need help. I kept a copy of all the CEs, even the 2* and 1* ones from the start of the game. I dunno, it just feels wrong to dispose of them, and I sure as heck wont be using them ever. Thank god they give us the option to expand the second archive.

I actually did manage to find a use-case for Motor Cuirassier on my account: the duel with Quetz in Babylonia. Having that special attack against Riders really does help chew through her HP if you're using one of those weird class mismatches like Nero Bride or Tamamo Lancer.

Hans with beauty at the window gets almost guaranteed no buffs at 95%, and he doesn't really need starting charge all to much since he has a 75% battery

buffs of that kind only apply to the servant, so he'll have increased chance on Himself to get the buffs but it would still be stuck at 80% for allies

i'm pretty sure some of those class-specific NP strength CEs are useful in events with very strict team cost requirements like grail front

Hydra Dagger is definitely useless. Instant kill is unreliable even with 100% increases, so 10% isn't helpful at all. As for my own opinion on the other two, they got worth due to their NP gauge up. Not as good as Dragon's Meridian, but they can make for a decent back up CEs. So, they are good enough to be ok to be rid of them for room or to keep just in case

Personally I keep a single MLB copy of every 3* CE I get. It's not practical, even in Grail Front there are plenty that never see the light of day. I just like collecting.

To be fair, stuffed lion saved my ass when I had to do one of the Musashi support fights in Olympus. That is the only reason I keep 2 MLB of those. Aside from that, I agree with everything else. Do have any plans of doing a CEs worth keeping video for event CEs? Or one for 4* & 5* non Event CEs?

Imo they should really rerun the garden of sinners ce banner sometime, because one of the 3 star ces Repeat magic is godly for a budget battery ce with its strong np gain percent bonus along with beunf a 30% flat start that becomes 50% if a servant has a maxed mana loading

This is quite good since I usually just keep an mlb copy of pretty much every CE (idk why) but I should get rid of some since I'm starting to have storage issues too. Still, I'd say that Jeweled Sword Zelretch and Ryudoji Temple at mlb are worth keeping too. Their effects for their costs are pretty decent.

I kept 1 copy of each 3* MLB and it proved to be useful during the first grail front.. I remember the last day had such a bizarre party cost restriction I had to rely on Parted Sea and Dragon Meridian...

So the one person can possibly see using Maiden at the Window is for Hans. This would up the chance of landing his buffs from his Noble Phantasm. Is it better then a Dragon's Meridian for him? Dunno maybe for longer fights. So the easy suggestion for using that Parting the Red Sea with a Taunter is use plugsuit the turn the enemy NPs to take it. There's one really old bronze CE that also provided meter at the start some something like 20 MLB but it's part of the gen one set they got rid of for the new ones. I've held on to one as a just in case.

Maiden at the Window only works for Hans himself not the servants he buffs as far as I know. If you know better than correct me on this

The best example I can give is Prince of Lan Ling. So you cast his second skill on himself so he gains the buff success rate up so his third skill's chance based buffs have a better chance to apply or when maxed out 100%. That said they are SLGIHTLY different on Atlas so it probably works like how you said it does. Gotta love looking at the spaghettis mechanics trying to figure out how some of this stuff works.

@@gusbart5856 works on Hans NP to increase the chances of his buffs landing on them. Can confirm that it DOES work on the Servants he's buffing

@@emresshayesgaile2257 I asked multiple people since and they confirmed my belief. The CE only increases the Chance of received buffs Not given buffs. You would need to equip the servant that Hans wants to Support to get the desired effect.

I was expecting Atlas institute 25% arts NP damage, since we're in the castoria meta after all. Maybe Repeat Magic if you have it, 30% charge and 15 NP Gen, this event is long gone sadly.. Both of them have full attack 1k at Max lvl
