The higher octane helps prevent engine knock when your getting on it. Great truck man

So what if you aren’t getting on it and just driving it normal? I would assume just running 87 would be sufficient if you aren’t racing red light to red light lol

Great headliner. I have a 6.2 and use 93, as well.

I’m switching to 93, but more importantly… I need a gold grill on my lowers now 😁 🔥

Bro, you know that Mustang barely walked off. Lmao. I mean, they all try me, so ima give em the smoke. Hahahahaha. But for real, 93 runs better in the 6.2. The 87 creates lifter rattle.

Easy. 93 octane. High altitude? 91.

Why are you using 93 when your owner's manual says 87. It has no benefit whatsoever. You could give that EXTRA MONEY TO ME!! WHAT A WASTE!!
GM definitely recommends 93 in the manual and gas cap

I went to a custom shop for performance and they took the stock tune out and tuned up the afr and the timing. He recommended 93 for my 2500 6.0L 2011 Silverado. Tell you what definitely love the sound and the speed that came with all that . 93 highly recommended if you put an air Intake and a muffler delete an a performance tuner!!!🤙🏻
