You can kinda tell who are the bourbon drinkers. I drink Irish 90% of the time and the rest Scotch, Bourbon tastes weird to me. I think sometimes it’s similar with Bourbon drinkers

I used to belong to a wine tasting club, many years ago. One time we had a blind pinot noir tasting. One was a 1964 Chambertin. You could tell as everyone got to it, because there were audible "OOH"s as people smelled it. The aroma was rich and earthy, like petrichor. Then a pause ... and then the tasting. Out of 120 people, 48 ranked it first, but SIX ranked it dead last. So yeah ... very personal tastes.

Emma does not, in any way, seem fun, genuine or authentic to me. She seems very pompous & arrogant like she wants to impress the people in the room but only to the point that she agrees with them. I like how John also said he didn't like Glenfiddich originally when he tried it way back, as your palette changes blind tastes could reintroduce you to something you previously didn't like so deliberately avoid, but you find out you love it now.

I've tried and failed miserably at blind tastings of both vodka and bourbon. Invariably I pick the cheapest crap. No point in me spending any money on expensive bourbon.
@sweynforkbeard88572 жыл бұрын
@@wyrxr Typically what I find is that I like what I have been drinking. Try it sometime if you drink more of the cheaper stuff. I like Evan Williams Black because of the price and it's not dreadful. In a blind test, guess what I pick even against bourbons that cost twice as much.
