Ya it's clear there is no winner. They are wheels that shine in different categories. Euc would be hurting if we are missing any one of these wheels. For me I can't go top speed there is not race track around me, so I chose lynx. Et does look sweet.

I think the Lynx seems like the better buy, especially if you go through eWheels. You get pads and a seat, and that offroad tire option opens up trails while the ET Max seems to just be street oriented. Plus the weight difference is honestly a no brainer

About the threads in the Lynx If you have the problem that the threads wear out, it is also possible to use HeliCoil Inserts (only if necessary). I worked for several years in CNC machining for aerospace engineering and the most commonly used materials for lightweight construction were aluminium magnesium alloys such as AlMgSi1 etc. However, we always used Helicoil Inserts for the components in assemblies that were subject to high stress. This can be an option if You really wearing out your threads on the Lynx. Just be careful with the process. Although, I believe its an fantastic wheel, the engineering of the wheels is getting better and better which is fantastic. Ride Safe and wear a helmet !!!

The GTR is all-wheel drive while the Porsche is rear wheel drive. The comparison is a bit lacking in my opinion because the GTR would do much better off-road than the Porsche but I think we can agree the Lynx would spank the ET Max off-road

Both good wheels, for heavy riders and more on road riding, Max is good; for someone care about the weight of the wheel, Lynx is no brainer.

yes the magneisum is easy to wear- you can only work on it gently , like the patton, you will ruin threads over a period of time

Re. power/torque, all things being equal it's very logical for the light machine to be quicker or atleast easier to be quicker. Looks wise, ET Max for me. No doubt its also the most complete wheel BG ever produced. Personally I really really like the ET Max. That said, being a average size/weight rider, I'll take less weight even over more power so Lynx ftw, for me atleast

What I hear, as a heavy guy, is that the Max is better if I want raw power. Still, the weight is impressively high.

Thanks for the comparison. Definitely over priced, especially in a deflationary Chinese economy . Currently the EX30 is $1,400 cheaper with more cells.

My lynx came with velcro and pads (and a seat!). Not sure what lynx you guys got without velcro and pads.. where did you get yours?

How did ET max react in the rain? Even if there is no IP standard. Does the water come in? Because I drive a wheel even when it rains. I need to know that information. Thank you.

Just discovered that the ET Max has independent IP67 certification! That is in fact the best waterproofing on any wheel ever made. Of course that flies in the face of my last video saying that the lynx has the best waterproofing of any wheel ever made, but hey, at least I'm willing to admit that I was wrong about it 🙂

@WheelGoodTime I find it hard to believe that Begode paid for an IP certification. At least European certification. As much as I trust inmotion but begode? Are you some? Or could I see this document? And the tests of this wheel in action in the rain. Because for me the begode tests like the A2 under seawater... especially since we do not see the state of the bearing... is worth nothing 🤣

I wonder which one changes direction faster under 15 mph the ET Max is heavier but it's narrower front to back and side to side

@@WheelGoodTime I just got a Lynx 🤙🏽 coming from a v11 it's like starting over again past 35 mph, pretty maneuverable it's not that bad the pedals are an inch and a half higher though so I got the lowering kit

Why do manufacturers not use an axial Flux motor? Or a combination of the two (linear with axial)

Cost ? Axial flux electrical motor are relatively new. For mass production, I would bet they simply cost more. Also, an axial motor advantage is that it's compact. There is no need to be compact in the large interior diameter of a EUC wheel, there is enough room. Am I right ?

Lynx for the win due to the better suspension. Begode suspension is trash.

Have you tried their coil suspensions? On my extreme, it's incredible.

@WheelGoodTime stock geometry of begode suspension is crap. Until they can go with something like the s22 where they can have a progressive spring and dampening rate then I will continue to call it crap. Why should any wheel ever need 2,000lb spring or more to support say 160 to 200 pound person? I believe kingsong s22 is running less than a 1,000lb spring and progressive curve. Both fork suspension brands are able to support the same weight on 120lb worth of spring . Trust me I love begode electronics. But at some point the ride quality is going to be important to keep that wheel on the ground.

Lynx does not have more low end torque at all. ET max has better torque from top to bottom. dont compare a wheel when the rider has 3 months of riding vs a wheel with the rider having 1 day of riding

The reason why they are compared so often is because they have a lot of similar specs, similar(ish) prices, and they are both high performance race wheels. I've made another video where I compared them both side by side. I said it both in the video thumbnail and the title: they're worlds apart in so many ways. The comparison is inescapable 🙂

Why do you say that? The EX30 is very good, but the ET Max is in a bit of a different category than the EX30, but with many improvements.

@@bookmark2846Yes sir, just got my EX30 from AR. 2800.00 and after taxes total otd was just under 3k for a street tire 50gb version. The Begode ET Max is the wheel I wanted, but would of been nearly 1500.00 more otd price. Pound for Pound and Dollar for Dollar, the EX30 is the best bang for the buck.
