I loved listening to your daughter at the end of this video. She sounds pretty cool! I think you're doing a good job of being a dad!

Edge is done with the blade grinder attachment on the ken onion worksharp and yes I did the wet forming job 👍🏻 defiantly not as good or a wood carver as the scandi but I use it mainly for food prep! Another great review and I'll send you a couple mor this coming week 👍🏻

Just ordered the next gen, needed something to tackle feed bags, whittling spoons and occasional fire starting. Very excited.

As always great video, but my favorite part was your interaction with your daughter at the end. Excellent focus in multi tasking! "Which one's cooler?... The Scandi. Why?.... Cuz it's awesome!"

Living in California with 40 Million people we have to be prepared for earthquakes & fires at all times. I keep a smaller LT Wright (Next Gen) as a smaller companion knife & they are of supreme quality.

I have the scandi version and love it to bits, great for skinning and cutting and slicing , I find it a great bushcraft knife but also a great camp knife, mind you I don't like batoning with a knife at all, it's really not needed where I go camping. Cheers

That is my problem which one to choose the Scandi or flat grind? The Scandi is easier to sharpen which I like and cuts wood really well , and the flat grind is great for a all around utility blade which may work better for me I think. Since I would carry it as a EDC knife as well .

Say Heah Cedric, I got a Battle Horse Attitude, but I had it modified, I posted it on Google Play, I had a White G-10 handle put on it, lowered the Drop Point and put a slight curve on it with a high scads grind, because I didn't like a broomstick handle, my Attitude has a palm swell and a flared pommel, it came out beautiful. Both LT and BH temper at Peters and both use to be Blind Horse, check it out, just to give you a idea, Laterz.,,.

very nice. I have the next gen (video coming soon) I love the flat grind on it. comparing scandi and flat I think flat is much better. my opinion. using my morakniv I'm not a fan of scandi. like how you included your daughter. my son appears in almost all of my videos.

Have you had to sharpen the scandi blade on anything other then a strop? If so what did you use? Did you sharpen the whole bevel or cut in a micro bevel?

How does the genesis handle compare directly to the outback handle? I realize that the outback is more similar to the gns, but im curious about the diameter because I have large hands and have experience with the genesis. Is the outback handle larger around or smaller

Since you already have decided for a LT Wright Genesis, I am not going to suggest looking at Surviveknives GSO 4.1, or a 4.7 or a 4.5 with blade in CMP-3V. No I am not. ( I have the 4.1 my self).
