I speak Italian (mother language), French, English, German, Spanish, European Portuguese. I can speak a little bit of Romanian, Swedish, Serbo-Croatian and Dutch (but just a little bit!). I was used to speak a little bit of Albanian with my collegues but now I have no possibility anymore and I think I forgot almost everything. Now I'm learning Russian and Chinese and in the future I hope Japanese, Arabic and Hebrew. Learning languages it's definetely a passion of mine :) :) :)

Dade P yes I'm currently Spanish, italian, and japanese hopefully becoming fluent in them in not sure what other languages I would love to learn after I masters them but learning new languages are definitely fun and interesting along with their cultures to. Spanish being the highest I speak(intermediate), italian, then Japanese and of course English being the highest of all (obviously😂😂)

Visiting Milan, I did not find really anyone who could answer a simple question in English and I stopped young people too on the street thinking that they would likely be able to speak English, but no chance. I still had a wonderful time, because the Italian people are so warm. Much different than German.

I speak English, French, German, Spanish and Hungarian, which was the hardest to learn. I am now working on my Italian which I studied 40 years ago ... and then let it drop. Mi piace moltissimo! It’s easy to learn after French and Spanish - plus my 4 years of Latin in high school helped. I see Italian as a modern version of Latin.

I am Ecuadorian and I speak Spanish and English fluently, also Brazilian Portuguese about 70% (Though I can understand and read over 90%). I understand Italian about 35-40% through my native Spanish. I think Italians have an easier time understanding us than us understanding them, same goes for Portuguese speakers. I would love to learn Italian and French in the future.

I'm from Puerto Rico and Spanish is my native language. I'm bilingual in English, which I learned at an early age. I studied two and a half years of Italian, which I found very easy to learn due to its similarity with my native Spanish. I studied a year of French and I can handle not too complex conversations. I'm currently studying Portuguese, which I find easy to learn as it's very similar to Spanish. I would like to learn Chinese (Mandarin, and Cantonese). That would be a real challenge!!

Non, ce n'est pas seulement à Rome qu'on le parle, on l'apprend partout en Italie, au college. Le choix peut être entre le Français er l'Espagnol mais plus rarement. Puis moi, j'ai continué à l'étudier même pendant les années succesives au lycée où j'ai choisi les langues étrangères avec l'Espagnol et l'Anglais. Consiglio a tutti di utilizzare gli strumenti digitali per imparare le lingue: sono poco costosi (in genere), molto efficaci e permettono di seguire il proprio programma personalizzato di apprendimento tutti i giorni. Imparare le lingue è utile, divertente e stimolante. Meglio di un semplice videogioco o social network. Con tanta simpatia, Easy Italian siete fantastici!!!! :D

I started learning Italian when I was 12 but I seriously started learning it around 17. It's the easiest Romance language to me. Bon giorno! Parlo 'inglese come lingua madre, poi parlo italiano "come gli italiani" però sempre "la lingua tuscana nella bocca romana". Je parle français parce que je viens du Canada. Mais je ne viens pas de Québec, j'habite en Ontario donc là pays anglophone. Francese è la mia lingua che conosco di meno. Purtroppo dopo 7 anni, parlando pochissimo o italiano o francese, tutte e due sono abbastanza difficile a questo punto. Vorrei riprendere ambedue delle lingue perciò ho cominciato di seguire 'easy french e easy italiano'. Magari dopo un po' di forza possa riuscire alla fine con la consapevolezza delle lingua d'un tempo. Mi manca Italia moltissimo e tutti i miei amici di là. Mi sembra una sfida lodevole nei questi tempi del 'virus' ad iniziarla. A tutti vi auguro buona fortuna e coraggio imparando l'italiano. Così sia! Ciao!

Io parlo inglese, norvegese, svedese, danese, olandese, tedesco, latino, rumeno, italiano (come non lo parlo!), francese, spagnolo, portoghese, greco, ed anche un po' di russo, polacco, ungherese, finlandese, giapponese, e cinese (mandarino). Qualche domanda per gli italiani: Gli italiani trovano difficile l'inglese? Quale sono le vostre esperienze studiando ed imparando l'inglese? Credo che la difficoltà sia molto soggettiva ;) Per quanto il mio livello non sia ottimo, a volte mi trovo più a mio agio a parlare in inglese perché ho l'impressione di dover stare meno attento alla grammatica rispetto ad altre lingue. Come forse saprai, oggi è la "Giornata della lingua inglese" ed è uscito un articolo del quotidiano "La Stampa" che parla proprio delle difficoltà degli italiani con l'inglese :) Cerca "Troppa grammatica, poca conversazione e tv in italiano" su Google e troverai l'articolo (non metto il link perché altrimenti KZbin pensa che sia spam XD)

Lee Cox beh, la difficoltà è soggettiva, ma molti in Italia non si trovano a loro agio con l'inglese. Non è una lingua difficile, ma credo che sia soprattutto per il fatto che sia molto diverso dall'italiano e per via della pronuncia

Affascinante. Avrei pensato che gli italiani trovassero più a proprio agio nel inglese, dato che lo studio del inglese è obbligatorio nella scuola al giorno di oggi, non è vero? Mi sembra, avendo letto le vostre osservazioni qui, che il problema è che gli studenti italiani d'inglese imparano le regole e leggono molto, ma parlano e scrivono quasi niente, quindi non imparano il vocabolario necessario per parlare inglese con sicurezza e correntemente. Anch'io trovo questa sfida nei miei propri studii, sia in italiano sia in qualsiasi altra lingua che stia studiando al momento. Che cosa potrei io quale madrelingua fare per aiutarvi ed incoraggiarvi che forse vi sforziate nel imparare inglese?

Il problema principale è il fatto che il programma di lingua dei licei si concentra sullo studio degli autori "classici" della letteratura e sull'analisi delle loro opere (le materie umanistiche sono insegnate secondo una prospettiva storica; è così anche per la letteratura italiana o la filosofia). Negli altri tipi di scuole superiori, lo studio della lingua ha scopi pratici, ma è limitato a ciò che necessario per svolgere il tipo di lavoro per cui si è formati (es. studi per diventare "export sales assistant" con l'estero? allora, lavorerai tanto sulla trattativa commerciale, ma avrai meno conoscenza di tutto il resto della lingua) :) Credo che KZbin (e non solo) sia pieno di risorse utili per studiare l'inglese, quindi tanti italiani riescono a migliorare il proprio livello di inglese grazie a quello che sentono/vedono/leggono qui ;)

Lee Cox sono un'insegnante di inglese italiana e ti posso dire che il problema maggiore degli alunni italiani è la pronuncia: noi abbiamo solo 7 suoni per le vocali mentre in inglese ce ne sono moltissimi.... quindi per gli studenti che non hanno passato periodi un po' lunghi in paesi anglofoni capire cosa dicano i nativi è piuttosto difficile. Ultimamente però Internet ci sta dando una grande mano ed anche gli alunni che ahimè non hanno i soldi per viaggiare possono sentire persone madrelingua ed esercitarsi nell' ascolto.

I speak English and German. English is my native language and I learned German in school. I would love to learn Italian. I think it sounds very beautiful and I'm 25% Italian. I'm a little jealous of my dad because he's 50% and my Grandma is 100%.
