all these labels just divide us as humans even more.... can't we all just be our unique selves without all of these guidelines and rules?

Labels aren’t rules - they’re tools for connection. They help some people feel seen, but if they’re not for you, that’s totally okay too!

WHY WOULD IS WANT TO LABEL MYSELF????
@samantha_proust3 күн бұрын
That's a good question! Well... verbalization is important because it gives us the language to express who we are and how we experience the world. Labels aren’t about limiting ourselves-they’re tools to communicate, find community, and validate our feelings. For many, they’re a way to say, ‘This is me,’ and be seen and understood. That said, not everyone feels the need for a label, and that’s perfectly valid too!

@ why don't we just explore being ourselves and not looking for silly labels for validation. it's all quite regressive living by these specific rules we've created for ourselves. let's all just be

@ and there are literally a million ways to be a man or a woman. why is it that all the sudden someone doesn't fit the cookie cutter definition of man or woman that it means they must be some other third thing like nonbinary? isn't it much more free to know you can exist however you want as a man or a woman and don't need to live in the confines of ANY label??? just my opinion. i find all these "identities" quite regressive
