Right now I'm deciding which dialect of Arabic I'd like to learn. Tunisian sounds cool. I love all the mixing with French and, of course, the Tunisian people seem pretty great!

Olá! Lovely episode and energy as usual. Kudos. I think here in Brazil the reactions would be similar. The video makes me happy and curious about SAMARA. Well done :)

Is it even worth it for an European man to try to learn Arabic, considering how many dialects of arabic there are in the world, and classical arabic is hardly spoken by anyone on a daily basis, and in addition, arabs (especially young and middle-aged arabs recognize it) may make fun of you if you speak traditional arabic on the street. Any honest opinion from Arabic natives?

We usually find it weird if an Arabic person speaking traditional Arabic in a casual situation but if a foreigner try to learn and speak Arabic we won't make fun of his efforts and we would actually appreciate it and feel happy about his interest in our language so don't let bad thoughts stopping you from doing something you want to do 😊 ( and if someone makes fun of you trying to speak Arabic you should feel sorry for them for many reasons)

As Native Arabic speaker , I used English subs to understand some words ") I would suggest to anyone interested in Arabic to learn Egyptian dialect its the most known one and all Arabic nation can understand it easy.

Just wondering, is Arabic from Saudi Arabia also widely understood?

There is still such beauty in learning this dialect from a smaller country such as Tunsisia! Even if not as much broad use

@@YaJasha I’m a native Arabic speaker and yes Gulf, Levantine, and Egyptian Arabic are all widely understood and although there are many differences, they’re very similar. Tunisian Arabic feels like a whole other language sometimes haha because of how intertwined French is with the language. Same thing with Moroccan.

The same thing applies to us as Tunisians. We use English subs to understand your Egyptian dialect because it is not understood at all.
