Yes it has! Hes gone back to basics, n got the players focused on little things: Better technique, discipline n tackling! And he’s harped HARD on them stopping da “chunk plays”! So stop da run, don’t give up da chunk plays n step up da pass rush, n we good!

Taysom has 55 total TDs. Whoever told Haas the stat he said was wrong.
@WWLsportsАй бұрын
I think the stat is correct, it’s just not explained correctly. He’s got 44 rushing/receiving TDs. He’s also got 11 passing TDs, but QB stats are typically tossed into a different bucket. 44 puts him 9th among position players. - 1. Kamara: 85 - 2. Colston: 72 - 3. Ingram: 57 - T4. Graham: 55 - T4. McCallister: 55 - 6. Hilliard: 53 - 7. Horn: 50 - 8. Martin: 48 - 9. Hill: 44 If you include QB stats he climbs to T4.

Rams back in Dome. Saquan had over 200 rushing yards. Let AK41 loose. I really like Dante Pettis (round2 pick 44) Good KR on special teams. Dude is a burner.

Is it worth it, considering Alontae was playing great in the slot this season and is probably the Saints most physical DB, to just have him lock up and follow someone like Puka, the entire game, regardless where Puka lines up?
@WWLsportsАй бұрын
My problem with shadowing is the idea is get your best DB on their best receiver, but it also affects everybody. If you want Alontae to travel into the slot, then the Rams can use that as an easy trigger to get Ugo Amadi isolated on the outside. The CB2 (in this case a rookie) would be having to constantly change sides and flip technique. I think the downsides outweigh the up.
@TheStacanovaАй бұрын
I hear your point, they’ve done it with Lattimore in the past, but no one else, correct? So they’re not use to playing it, however, the Rams are pretty predictable with their personnel, I think they still play 11 more than almost anyone and where Alontae has struggled, as you said, it appears he’s confused with his outside assignments, that would really simplify things for him, if the other DB’s could handle it?

Taysom's run was longer than Ollie Madson.

Correct. I also misspoke because Ollie died in 2011.

Penning, Carr and Kendre Miller have the most to prove to me. Penning needs to be the monster he was in college. Carr needs to be stronger, stand in that pocket and take the hit if you need to - and get back up unscathed. And Kendre Miller needs to start running that ball like someone's chasing him. Carr has played well so far, but his mistakes seem come when he's under pressure. He is rightfully concerned about his health, I get it - but the team needs him to stand in the pocket and take those hits. Miller just needs to play the rest of the season without any soft-tissue injuries and play well, with no fumbles or dropped passes.
@WWLsportsАй бұрын
Completely disagree on the Carr/pressure idea. One of the bigger critiques last year was that he’d hold the ball too long. Said going into this season he needed to play more like late-career Brady. You can stand in there to take hits when necessary (and he has done that) but in the majority of cases you need to be getting the ball out fast. One of the perks of a veteran QB is he should be able to process quickly. He’s made some mistakes under pressure, yes, but that’s life as a QB in the NFL. This offense doesn’t have the playmakers to bail you out of bad situations. Key is to be in positive down/distance scenarios so you can take advantage of the run game and keep defenses honest. I agree on Penning/Miller. Looks like Kendre will be good to go in Week 14.

I’m waiting, may take another ten years for the smart guys to realize contrary conversations about # 7. It plays out the way it did and does. But the light bulb never clicked on; that with the correct support/ development , he could have actually been a generational QB. He’s been biblically screwed and still rose to greatness. Go Bro # 7. 🙏💪

I feel like he played decent back in '22 (tough to remember exactly). Saints won that game. It's tough to compare last year's because he was in the slot, but it was probably his worst game of the year. He'll have different assignments this time.
