Dan is literally Jim. He’s the only one that is okay with putting his boss in check (literally yells at Ethan not to say something stupid in fears of strikes lmao just like Jim always has to tell Michael he was about to do something stupid) and has the natural confidence to be able to mess around with his boss without fear of getting in trouble. He’s also the most sarcastic, and dams sarcasm is A+. At the end of the day he’s technically the one keeping the place afloat, in certain ways he’s more knowledgeable and competent than his own boss but won’t be bc he’s more of a behind the scenes guy. It’s someone who everyone loves despite not always being the most outwardly excited, Jim never cares about the little office goofs and gags (there’s a lot of segments u can tell Dan doesn’t give a shit about, kinda like the Colleen PowerPoint and a lot of drama, but he’s gonna show up and still support his coworkers). Dan is also the one guy who would give the least of a shit who he was voted most likely to be which is such Jim energy. AB is literally Dwight, he wants to be Jim but just kinda isn’t and that’s okay lol

i know ethan and crew wont see this but i cannot express enough what this podcast has done for me. ive been really struggling to get through university since starting in 2021 and thats when i discovered the pod and just knew i had found something special. at that time i was still in lockdown and feeling incredibly isolated, lonely, and deflated that i was missing out on what was supposed to be the most fun time of my life as a new university student. i couldnt go out and make friends and the crew filled that void for me with goofs and gafs. even if it is parasocial, i enjoy every inside joke and find so much joy in having the same humour. im in my final year, im out of lockdown and ive made friends but sometimes studying at home alone gets overwhelming and i get too in my head, but the pod is always there for me as an invaluable source of comfort. im working on the biggest essay ive ever had to do and its stressful and difficult and ive cried numerous times but playing the pod in the background is so comforting and it reminds me that there's so much to laugh about, so much weirdness to discuss, and so much life to live that academics isnt everything. thank you H3 crew! love you guys so much x
