Dang Rado, those last 2 laps looked pretty good as far as I’m concerned. But those landings though, looked butter smooth. From what i am learning, Yamaha has one of the best factory suspension set ups, especially for us guys 200 to 230lbs. Awesome video

Thanks for the vid. I got back into bikes recently since my son just got a YZ65. I used to throw my DT200R around the local enduro tracks back in the day. I've been having a few laps on my mate's YZ250F, and find it fun, but heavy and unwieldy, so really want to try a YZ125. These YZ125X's look perfect! My mates are all saying stick to 4-stroke, as we are all too old for 2-stroke (we are all over 40), but gotta try it for myself first. Every comparison vid of YZ125 vs either YZ250f or SX125 has ALL the commentators saying the YZ125 is more fun. They'd choose the others for racing, but the YZ125 for fun. That's what I'm looking for!
@dirtniron3 жыл бұрын

One of your best IMO!! 125 actually make you faster :P You must have more videos showing battling others, it really kept me watching and having some adrenaline flow :P The voice-over is really great and that way you can concentrate on more when riding the track and not thinking about what you should say. Keep it up! How is the arm pump on the 125 when trying to ride it hard? PS - Please send me this bike :P

What a fun video. You went very well with the little 125, Rado. At the end you smashed the throttle before the exit, allready in the spot of the rpm´s range and trying also to begin the bends with the engine in charge. As you said it´s all about momentum. Waiting for more videos. Cheers.

Rado, if you get good on a 125 two stroke it'll be like you died and went to Heaven.....they weigh nothing and will not tire you out and flick around like you have a bicycle between your legs. With the new bikes and their new-found bottom end and rev potential.....all you've got to do is act like a tap-dancer on the shifter, be willing to rev it until only dogs can hear it, and learn the meaning of momentum.....AND, you're all set. It's like having a vacation especially right after getting off the big bore bikes. Have fun, you lucky dog! Riding a 125 will make you a better rider on anything else you get on.

The true question should be between the YZ250FX and the YZ250X, which one is slower? In Central America we got a lot of parts bin bikes. When manufacturers change models and tooling they have to get rid of excess parts. Between ITs, WRs, DTs and YZs Yamaha made a lot of bikes never seen in the United States. My 2 best bikes I ever owned were YZ200s a 88 and a 90. Still waiting on my electric start, TPI, and counter-balanced YZ200X. At $6500 they'd sell 100,000 just in the US.

..that's such a cool vet track.and you were ripping it pretty good..my bike feels like a water bed or like marshmallows on long rollers and whoops that are slopping and more than a bike length apart ...seems it's always down in sroke without rebounding quick enuff to give me lift..or my nose always dives in regular sharp edges woops is why I say it's to soft.. .

If you’re not riding a two stroke to it’s potential, you’re not riding it at all, you have to let it scream, it’s about 80 percent rider skill no matter what…I think it’s funny everybody thinks they need a 1000cc machine but their skills can’t max out an 80cc bike I run with a bunch of cavemen on 450s and I pretty much smoke them all on my 125
