I took a chance on Bulk vintage. Not as many items as they said and some dreadful quality but some great pieces too that are very on trend and will sell high. I think you just have to be open minded . If they consistently sold low quality they wouldn’t be in business long. Love your videos by the way , say it like it is - proper northern approach x

Thanks for sharing your figures and I know you said you haven't included fees but ebay fees are so high they eat into your profit massively. When I was new to reselling I made the mistake of not having proper spreadsheets and factoring in the fees. Just putting this out there for anyone new to reselling.

I agree! I bought a return palette and made a spreadsheet which i update everytime something sells. It’s so helpful, everything feels more under control and it’s a great way to observe and decide wether the business idea is working for you or not. Highly recommend!

Good video, thanks. I've bought a few wholesale vintage lots the last few months, can be a real gamble. I now own a lot of broken levi jeans which I'll have to either cut off into shorts or donate to be recycled. Pretty sure I'll still make a profit though. Keep the videos coming... I really enjoy them. :)

@@SelfEmployedStudentMum Yeah I think so too. Plus I think all my experience good or bad helps grow as a seller. Learning from mistakes etc. Along with the not so great stuff I always end up with a lot of good stuff to sell too. :) Currently listing a load of vintage denim jackets which were a great deal!

@@samanthabrown5853 I have a 10 and 3 year old so I totally understand. My 10 year old helps out with photographing and packaging sometimes and I'm lucky that they do play together pretty well but I mainly get my listing done at night. Hi, what sort of accounting method/software do you use? Cash or accrual? Is it difficult to track expenses against profits? especially if something doesn't sell quickly. Thanks

Thanks for making this videos, I have been making researches for months now on where I can buy stuff like this to resale online but always find the US market not shipping to EU, just recently I found Eurolots which i can tell from your video it's legit, I wanted to start buying from them, i have registered but still can't buy, i am told to activate my account which requires a registered company information or document, but i only want to be reselling online, in other words i don't have a registered company, so how are you able to buy and sell without this or should i say how can i bypass this? Please help

Hi you just need to be registered as self employed as a sole trader or Ltd company and provide your unique tax reference number. It's just to show that you are a legit online seller as they only supply to businesses and not end users
