Totally agree with your 7’ Nautilus quad comments. If you put some more upright type keels in it (front boxes) and ride it as a twin you’ll discover it comes to life in the 3 to 5 foot range.

Amazing review!!! thanks for sharing your knowledge! I love quads, my step up is a 7'2 x 20 x 2,89, dedicated quad paired with the Pyzel Padillac Future Fins. Nautilus is the dream surfboard!!! Thank you

this was cool to watch. are you gonna do a twin+trailer video next?
@blinksurf3 күн бұрын
I will include twin + trailer in a future video about trying unusual fin combos. I ride twin plus trailer in my thruster sometimes.Thanks for the suggestion. With my twins I prefer them as two fins.

Thanks for your vids,really informative.What are the Soar quads like and have you used them in other boards?? Thanks again

The Harry quads are suited to good waves and narrow tails as they are stiff. They are new and I am still trying them in other boards. I suspect they will be excellent in the semi gun. Not for wide tail boards or small waves. I reckon they will behave similar to the Kai quads: kzbin.info/www/bejne/d3e1lJ-Kj8qmbac and kzbin.info/www/bejne/roHPlHyfmLKVgdU

Hey mate great videos, good info on fins. Wondering if you have checked out HI Mini Moe? Looking for everyday mid(6’6-6’10) mid 40litre to ride 2-4 foot rip bowls & some shories in Sydney.

I have not surfed one but it looks like it will work for what you want. Thunderbolt looks really nice too.

Hey there ... might be a bit off topic ... heck mighty be stuff for a new video. But what's your take on Firewires Helium 2 or Volcanic tech. How does it compare to the standard PU sleds you have?
@blinksurf3 күн бұрын
Volcanic looks good to the eye.I prefer Volcanic over LFT. Some of my LFT boards had issues. Have never owned a Helium. I dont mind PU because sometimes a solid weight can help with the speed momentum. My fave Epoxy is Exo Flex by Campbell designed its freat tech and its a good weight. Ive tried Hifi with JS but it felt too bouncy.
