2Pac vs. Biggie - close and both top 5 rappers imo but I think biggie is slightly better, Ready To Die is better than anything Pac made imo. Jay-Z vs. Ye - Hot take, but just like the guy in the video said in another video, I think Jay-Z is a little underrated by the general public and a bit overrated by critics. I think Jay-Z wins this though, listen to Allure, Dead Presidents Pt. II, and Lucifer. I think the rapping on those three alone is better than anything Ye has ever rapped. 50. Cent vs. Chance The Rapper - Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ need I say more. 50 wins this. Snoop Dogg vs. Jermaine Cole - No disrespect to Snoop, but imo he’s one of the most overrated rappers of all time, I don’t even think he’s a top 20 rapper, Doggy Style is his only great album, and yes he was featured on a few Dre albums like The Chronic, and 2001, but I don’t think snoop’s rapping in those is amazing or anything like that. And even doggystyle isn’t a top 25 rap album imo. I think J. Cole takes this as I believe he’s a top 15 rapper. People listen to grippy and think that’s his whole discography, like, listen to 4yeo. Kendrick vs. Drake - Drake is also an extremely overrated rapper, is this even a debate? Dot takes this easily, they even went against each other and Kendrick won. Ice Cube vs. André 3k - pretty close, but incredibly talented rappers, but I think this goes to André. OutKast made Stankonia and Aquemini, both top 15 rap albums of all time imo. I know cube made Straight Outta Compton, but outside of N.W.A. He really just has hits, most of stuff isn’t known for it’s rap, but it’s beat. It Was a Good Day had a pretty basic flow and rhyme scheme, even Rakim has made more complex rap. André is pretty underrated too, easily a top ten rapper imo, and most people just listen to his overplayed hits and think that’s his best work. I do acknowledge No Vaseline though. Eminem vs. Nas - Nas is the G.O.A.T. imo, his lyricism is unmatched and he really has never had an album below a 6/10 imo, and he’s made the best rap album of all time, Illmatic. I think Eminem is *SLIGHTLY* overrated, this is because he is easily likeable as his best songs are usually his best songs. And then some of his fans try to listen to other rappers and only hear their hits and think that’s their best work, (Ex. Jay-Z, Nas, André.) so I think Nas takes this. I got a whole 40+ song album proving why Nas is the best. He’s got so many songs better than SOME (cough cough, Drake, cough cough) rappers whole discography.
