I agree with you. I’ve play tested most versions of tearalaments and what I’ve found is that the versions that can break boards and go second do best. Yeah, you might be able to have insane going first board if you don’t get stopped, but you struggle to go second

Obviously the first board has to be consistently good because if it's too easy to break you're giving away a big advantage. But yes I believe the challenge will be breaking boards

Really good Video. I would consider running a small d-hero package in the pure build since any d-hero + tear gives you acces to Beatrice which on its own just does so much for the deck

I think the Branded version (maybe not this exact list) is going to be the strongest one, Punkt is going to be also quite popular; but i prefer a shaddoll + king of the swamp build -> you can also access some of the branded cards through the king, and need less space in both decks I just think its the most fun one - to have many GY effects pop off after a mill or have the versatility of extra deck fusion options that these other decks/versions dont really have... also for chapters you need to have a "0:0 intro" - if you want them to work like usual have a good one m8

Thanks for the hint, description is adjusted! I hope the Branded version turns out best, Branded Despia was what I played this format haha. So far just found pure to be working the cleanest

@@Gnurrgard for branded-laments I would recommend going for Despian Tragedy, really works well with the milling and also another despian for the fusions.

why fusion deployment and branded fusion in the despia variant? I think branded fusion is enough in that build imo.

You're already locked into fusions so adding deployment which has 2 targets as another power card is pretty good. It's not as core to the hybrid as branded fusion and opening but my idea of the deck was to have high threat density

Its great when going blind second because u can bait a negate with it and if not depending on what your opponent has you can make a negate

I've only played the branded tear. I like it because I can turbo out 3 masquerade with like the lv5 fusion tear and trap negate and depending what I open eaither a inperm or super poly set but I wanna try the shaddoll danger tear but I don't know how good that version is. I just got back into yugioh not even a week ago and so far I like this format it's really fun

Masquerade is pretty nice against Spright, but you're susceptible to the current boardbreakers in Superpoly and Dark Ruler. If you want the Branded version you probably need to use it as a facilitator or integrate branded in red somehow

Trippy but I believe you can tech dark magician with deployment and make dragoon with a swamp right ? Seems like the go second version is the best. It has access to crazy stuff and mask change 2

Yep you can! But you'd need a Swamp, a poly and a way to get Dark Magician haha I'm not a fan of the Mask change cards, the engine is very big

Techs can be adjusted accordingly, gamma was just an inclusion bc it was good vs spright. It did perform worse in testing than expected but sometimes can be gamewinning vs spright

I run little frog engine in punk tears. So you summon gamma with halq, you can ether make gigantic and summon swap for toad, or even use meiru and halq for gigantic, and you still have gamma for baronne

The punk version is bad unless u open dark ruler u can't do anything vs set up splite board a d splite can easily play through crow u still need ash or ogre. This list is so bad
