Well it's also just a very dumb card. "Your opponent can not activate cards or effects in response to this card's activation." is a sentence that shouldn't have been printed on any Yu-Gi-Oh! card ever. This game thrives on interacting with your opponent's cards.

@@luminous3558 True, but at least those cards often have exceptions or very steep costs (e.g. DRNM can be responded to with Spells/Traps; Droplet needs to send 3 different types of cards if you want your opponent to not be able to respond with anything; Kaijus are a straight -1 in card advantage and Lava Golem/Sphere Mode eat your normal summon). EDIT: I'm also not trying to defend this card design. I think it's dumb that you can bait a negate, then Droplet for monster and trap on chain link 3 and that you can tribute your opponent's board for a 0/0 Vanilla without them being able to respond.
