Considering ATLUS is releasing the original EO trilogy for Switch and PC, a similar collection with SMT1 2 and if psx versions would be a dream come true

Hopefully, Atlus realize they could do the EO Trilogy for the Shin Megami Tensei games on the Super Famicom. Although we're talking about Atlus, probably both Kazuya and Aleph will appear in Persona 5 X first before they developed a proper remake of both games :^]

I don't normally leave comments but I just wanted to show my appreciation for respecting your audience. Most people just assume nobody in their audience speaks Japanese, sometimes even going as far as to pretend Japanese only games don't even exist. So I appreciate you giving two different recommendations at the end. I normally go for the version that has more content, in this case the GBA, but the ps1 graphics look much more pleasing on the eyes so I decided to go with that instead, even though it was a bit hard hunting down the revised version.

the smt2 psx launch version has a ton of bugs, you can find info about it in japanese if you look up 真・女神転生IIドミネーター (smt2 dominator(ver)), its named the dominator version because of a "dominator bug" which freezes the game, though there's a ton more, including one that can corrupt your memory card or one that can make you unable to keep items in your inventory

24:32 i have Apsaras and Yurlungur in the SFC and PSX version, i never managed to fuse Kushinada but i did saw her when i was doing fusion roulette to get a LAW or CHAOS demon when i fused a Messian or Gaean in the PSX version. point is... they're not exactly Mega-CD exclusives unless the megaten wiki on their pages said they are. like Minotaur is Mega CD only and the wiki itself said he is.

Are you sure? When I played the first SMT on Super Famicom I didn't meet with any of the Mega-CD exclusive demons, if I saw Apsaras at least once I would remember her. A detail that I forgot to mention in this video is those demons also appeared in the PlayStation One port of the 1st game, not all of them of course, but the most important ones like Apsaras or Yurgurlur also had a 2nd appearance in the PS1 port. My bad haha

Haha, I know bro, as you noticed English isn't my main language but I still love speaking it, to this day is the language that I invest most of my time to learn about, in fact that's the reason why I'm making videos in English instead of Spanish...but I know some people don't understand my accent or simply don't know English enough, thats why my most recent videos have both English & Spanish subtitles to make the video as inclusive as possible c: If you don't respect my opinion thats ok, everyone has different opinions for different matters after all; and yeah, before I played the Super Famicom duology I knew there was a Spanish patch for both of them, if I recall, If... still doesn't have one, in fact the reason why there aren't many Spanish MegaTen fans out there is the amount of games translated to Spanish are very limited, just a year ago SMT IV received one by a group of fans :/. I know it's kinda difficult for native English speakers to understand my voice, but I prefer talking in a "happy mood" that repeat what most of the MegaTen CCs do...speaking like if they were just getting up from the bed xD Thank you so much for your words man, your comment made my day :D

About the glitch of the PS1 version, I can tell you what it is... actually, I already tried this version before to switch to the original snes version, I remember the graphics glitched and it was almost impossible to navigate in the King Frost dungeon, so it's why I switched of version.

Mira las coincidencias jaja Tanto Satan como YHVH tienen evasiones asquerosamente altas, tienes tres opciones para poder hacer ambas peleas de la manera más sencilla posible 1.Busca un arma que tenga mucha evasión, no importa que sea debil, al usar Tarukaja no sufrirás esa consecuencia 2.Consigue un demonio con Sukukaja, realmente te ayuda muchísimo en esta pelea 3.Obten un demonio con Divine Retribution (creo que así se llamaba), consume mucho MP pero al asestar le quita a cualquier enemigo 1/4 de vida, incluyendo bosses

Yeah, no surprise the PS1 versions have bad loading times. A common problem for disc games. Although weirdly even emulation doesn't fix the issue for some games like Chrono Trigger, so it's not always because of the disc, but because of odd/outright poor programming. I wonder which is the case for SMT2.

Pufff, pues después de jugar la versión de PSX de SMT 1 me da cosa pasarme a la versión de SNES en SMT 2.... Ahora mismo tengo un A1 en japonés, no sé si jugarlo cuando tenga un mejor nivel , jugarlo en inglés en SNES o esperarme a que lo traduzcan en PSX... Lo mismo con SMT If... (Atlus, cread un puto remake, o incluso solo un remaster de los SMT originales traducido, lo necesito)

Lo otro que podrias hacer (que mucha gente hace cuando no tienen otra opción más que jugar algo no traducido) es jugar la versión de PsX MIENTRAS vas leyendo los diálogos ya traducidos de alguna página de internet, sería lo ideal si es que estás decidido a jugar esa versión......pero dudo que sea de mucha ayuda debido a los múltiples diálogos que pueden salir a la hora de negociar con un demonio xd

Es tedioso, pero supongo que vale la pena
