Which way forward for Israel-Palestine?

In this talk from Revolution Festival 2019, Fred Weston (editor of www.marxist.com) discusses the crisis in Israel-Palestine, which is back on the agenda thanks to Trump's proposed 'peace plan'.
For decades, the conflict in Israel-Palestine has been one of imperialism’s most blatant and persistent acts of oppression. The world watches on as Palestine shrinks and shrinks; settlement after settlement gets built; and bomb after bomb falls on innocent men, women, and children. But, as Marx said, a nation that oppresses another is not free itself.
The oppression of the Palestinian people has dragged on for so long, that many ask: is it even possible for a solution to be found? Negotiations, ceasefires, and accords - nothing seems to work. Further talks clearly won’t achieve anything.
Under capitalism, there is no way out. A one-state 'solution' would be an apartheid state, with Arabs as second-class citizens. Trump's so-called 'peace plan', meanwhile, has demonstrated that a two-state solution is a utopia.
Fred Weston explains how Marxists have a radically different proposal to solve the question - a solution which is not based on nationalism, but on class politics: the revolutionary mobilisation of the masses of the Middle East against capitalism and imperialism.

anyways, here's some historic facts to Fred's mix of truths and lies: 1. Today the bigest community of jews lives in Israel and not US or anywhere else. 2. Origanly the land that was given to the jews by British mandate included what is the west bank Jordan and some other areas east of jordan river. The jewish community pre-israel, was ready to give it up for the sake of peace. it looks like for Fred history started in 1948. 3. Most arabs which are being called today Palestinians immigrated to the area during the British mandate and jewish setelment, looking for work. They came mostly from Syria, Iraq and Egypt. They didnt call themselves Palesinians but simply Arabs. In fact , in Arabic language, the syllable P does not exist. Thats wht they use B instead when talking in Arabic. 4. Unlike your lies, before, during and after 1948 war, most arabs were not terrorised or ethnically cleansed, but most of them left because Arab countries who atacked israel called them to leave. Dir Yassin was arrguable and exceptional case that did not indicate the rule.

Concerning the claim (3) that Palestine/Israel was nearly uninhabited, Search: Norman Finkelstein + From Time Immemorial. Finkelstein debunked the claim of simultaneous Arab-Jewish immigration (put forward by Joan Peters) in the early 80's.

I can't find a single credible source saying that the entire mandate was promised as a future Jewish state. The Balfour Declaration doesn't say it neither the Peel Commission. Revisionist Zionism and Ze'ev Jabotinsky on the other hand wanted a greater Israel.

About no 4 search Benny Morris + Arab radio broadcasts. It didn't happen. The Arabs were expelled and/or prevented to return by the state of Israel. With that said many Jews also had to flee from Arab countries to Israel.
