This turned out so cute! I’m a dog lover, too. When we married, my husband was not but my dogs and I quickly won him over. Now he’s as much of a sucker for a sweet rescue as I am. LOL last weekend my son, his cousins and a friend had a lemonade stand and raised $150 for our local humane society. We are so proud of them. They were able to save the lives of 4 dogs and a kitten. 😊

Okay, fun fact about Pepe Le Pew: The first time he appeared in a cartoon, which was in 1945, the title of that cartoon was...Odor-able Kitty! I grew up on Looney Tunes, too, but that was back in the 60s and early 70s when cartoons were only shown on Saturday mornings! Btw, love the card, and I LOVE your whack-a-mole story. Hysterical!

Yes what you were saying about having to get your dog put to sleep, it was the worst experience of my life, I thought I was going to pass out in the vets. We had her for 15 years a puppy from the dog pound. We had gotten her round about the time my husband and I retired , so for 15 years we were here slaves when Molly wanted to walk,food or anything else we were on hand. Miss her everyday even after 2years. The card is brilliant as always.

Adorable card Kelly. I grew up with Looney Toons in the 60's, talk about aging myself. I still love them and watch them when I find them on. I'm so young at heart I have Looney Toon PJ's, Mickey & Minnie ones, Thumper from Bambi, Grumpy, Tinker Bell, you get the picture. Who says at 59 you have to wear old lady stuff? Not me. I'm a huge dog lover too and have had them all my life. I'm currently divorced and have been for 15 years, if I ever meet someone and they don't like dogs then that will be a deal breaker, lol!

Foghorn Leghorn! A bombastic rooster (named after a senator) who doted on Miss Prissy, a widow. Her little son was Egghead, who wore big eyeglasses and was very studious. Nice trip down Memory Lane, reading the comments!

I was watching Pepi le Pew and Penelope in the 50’s too. It was my favorite cartoon. I named out little long haired chihuahua Pepi. Although he was beige and not skunk like I just loved him. Silly. Then the cat had to be named Cecil from Cecil the seasick sea serpent. My goodness Many many years ago.

Love the scene! I'm trying those now.. We had 16 dogs throughout my childhood. My dad was a police officer and would bring hone lost dogs and my mom would quickly rehome them! My second dog, a terrier, was Pepper and she was so wild but my mom came to love her! Sadly, she died at 5 years old and we were heartbroken. I did love Pepe` Lephew (sp). Thanks for the card and the memories!

I grew up in the 70’s and 80’s and that’s what we watched! Looney Tunes are awesome! I loved Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. Roadrunner was fun. This is a cute card! And those are definitely “tidy Whiteys” 😂 I have three dogs so I totally get you!!

I never had dogs growing up, always had cats. My husband is allergic to cats so that was the end of that. Well in 2017 we decided to get a puppy right before Christmas. It turns out....we ended up getting TWO. That's right. Two brothers. Poor little fellow got left behind. Someone was gona adopt him and never showed up so he was available when we went to get ours. Needless to say the first six months were ROUGH. I mean you have to remember, I never had a dog before. I was used to cats, who literally train to go in the litter box within days. Not dogs man. Completely different animal. It was foreign to me. But I love them. I can't imagine my life without them. Sometimes I get so sad thinking one of them might pass away and leave the other one behind. They re brothers and been together since birth. And they do everything together. Whoever is left would certainly die of a broken heart. So as heartbreaking as it would be, I kinda hope they go together. I'd take that heartbreak if it mean they wouldn't have to.

Adorable card. I have been through some pretty horrific things in my life but having to euthanize both of my dogs, 4 years apart, but still had to euthanize both of them. That was the most traumatized I have ever been in my life. The first one because it was my sons dog and we had no idea what to expect. My son was an adult but again still had never been through anything like that and that little dog was his best friend for many many many years so it was traumatizing. Thank you for always sharing your stories with us. Please know that your hard work and your openness is greatly appreciated

Remember Penelope...walked under something just painted and she got that white stripe on her back...that's why pepe thought she was a skunk..he didn't care after she washed it off...I used to love to watch em...my kids watched em...they've bn around forever...I just turned 60...so yeah a long time....lol

You’re too much Kelly, Looney Tunes was one of my favorite things to do, especially when there were 6 channels to pick from & only on the weekends. I’m a bit more “mature” in age than you…anyway, the card is totally adorable & I still have a Tweety Bird (HE’S STILL TOO CUTE!!!). sleep shirt in bright pink w/a huge smiling Tweety Bird front & center!!! Do you like using the Tonic markers? I get their monthly card kit and received a set of them but haven’t had a chance to use them. Pets can be a pain at times but they’re great. I have 2 cats. My daughter and her hubby ave 2 dogs and 2 cats, I call it a zoo . I sure hate when they go out of town 😹

(Now I'm dating myself! actually I don't think I'm that much older than you are, but for many years I worked in the film industry & and was on WB lot throughout my life.) Another fun sweet card. I love the looney tunes theme. I remember pepe' lapu Sweet card.. We have three small rescue dogs. I love that we are able to give them love and they are all hair dogs so that is a plus because I am allergic to fur. two are from people who knew of someone. Maybe get the word out at work what you're looking for.. it usually turns out good. I got two that way. The right one will come along. What's new with Eric? haven't heard about him much lately..
