Hi Vickie, as someone who spends way to much time online, please take my advice and ignore the negative comments. You are teaching and sharing your knowledge on something wonderful. So focus only on this and don't pay them any mind. Negative comments are from people passing by in a bad mood or trolling. Many people leave negative comments for fun, they do this to annoy and "break" you down for fun. Don't respond or acknowledge them, because negative posters are looking to hear if you will respond to them on one of your videos. As soon as you do, they will become more critical to get more responses from you, as this makes them feel powerful. People are quite sad and malicious online. So just do you, enjoy yourself, and keep on going with your lovely videos, even if they are out of focus!

Don’t let it get to you, Vickie. Please continue to bring all your wonderful videos to us! We love you!! OK...I got that off my chest!! 😉 On to the fun...I love your apron. That says it all!! LOL!! I want to really thank you for showing how you make this body butter. I just love this. I have to share that I recently purchased a small bottle of Argan oil...OMGOODNESS!! That stuff is amazing!! I put some on my hair and my skin...and WOW!!!...it felt amazing!! Thanks for all you do!! Love, Mary ❤️😘❤️

It appears the trolls have found my videos. You wouldn’t believe the comments that I am getting. Mostly I delete the comments, but occasionally I will leave them, just to let their rudeness shine. But, as I have said before - whenever I find a comment like that, I click on their channel. I have not once seen any that make videos themselves! I am also having a LOT of comments with product links in them. Many times the exact same wording, from multiple names. Those automatically get deleted! No telling where they take you! LOL! My sister bought that apron for me when I visited her in California. Love it! Yes, Argan oil is amazing! But mix it in with all of these other lovely oils - wow! This is such an amazing product! I hope that you give it a try! Love ya!

Great body butter info! From what I've learned, the shelf life on body butters are about a year, you don't need a preservative because there is no water in the recipe. 😊
@VickiesCountryHome5 жыл бұрын
Yes, usually about a year, but it also depends on the particular oil/butter, and also how fresh it is. All oils can go rancid over time, so the fresher they are, the longer it will last.
@mirrissapurnell20814 жыл бұрын
Also-if she is going to sell it, even though we tell people do not put water into it, people will most likely stick their wet fingers in the butter, so- it helps both parties.

A very detailed informative video. I was glued to the screen. You really kept my attention! I could tell you take a lot of care in how you do things and are a very sweet person. I was making my own body butter because I want healthy products and do not like most smells. I find that the Mango butter does not smell like the shea butter. It takes a lot of essential oil to cover the shea butter. I have not tried using the coco butter but I did use coconut oil. I used the same oils you did except for I used almond instead of avocado. I wish I would have watched your video before I made mine. I thought about trying just mango butter and coconut oil as I would like mine very low scented. I am gonna have to try coco butter. If it smells like chocolate that may not be bad. I just sure am not a fan of the smell of shea butter but there are not many smells I can handle. Thanks for the Video it was a blessing.
@VickiesCountryHome5 жыл бұрын
I am glad that you enjoyed it! I love the smell of cocoa butter. It does get calmed down some when mixing with other oils and essential oils. You can buy deodorized cocoa butter, but I’m not sure what processes they use (chemical or mechanical), and what it does to the properties, so I prefer not to use it. Enjoy!

Vickie, I'm so happy to find your wonderful mango body butter recipe. I've been recently diagnosed with histamine intolerance and salicylate sensitivity, and unless your allergies are similar you may not realize that the ingredients in your mango butter are the only ones I can use! Your video was terrific...very informative and just what I needed. I'm also in Nevada (Henderson) so I understand dry skin. Can't wait to make this recipe. Thanks again!

I am so happy this will help! I make it for my own use. I have never been tested, but I am sensitive to so many products!

@@VickiesCountryHome It's difficult to "test" for some allergies. Do you react to things you eat as well? My diagnosis was confirmed (by my doctor) when I did an elimination diet and began to feel better. Discovering some of the same offending ingredients in my personal products came later. You may want to investigate "histamine intolerance" and "salicylate sensentivity" to see if you have any of those symptoms. I'd be happy to share some of the sites I found. Just let me know. I think it's a God-send that I found your mango body butter with the exact ingredients that I can actually use! I'm ordering everything I need this week.

Please do! I have already determined that a lot of preservatives in bath and body products cause me problems, which is why I got started making my own.

Dear Lady, Thank you so much for the lovely video to watch. Thanks so much for your kindness and the perfect recipe. I enjoyed watching and I definitely plan to prepare one of these days. I have to tell you that I saw a lot of body butter videos but only when I came across your video did I learn how to make body butter. Everything is so clear and understandable and I don't even have one question to ask. Again thank you very much God bless you🌸🌺
