Just wanted to say thanks! I found a sock and a whole bunch of other non-recognizable items. I did however flood my laundry room, so if you are going to do this, I would recommend having a drainage system of some sort and a wet/dry vac standing by. Thanks again!

Thank you sooo much I followed your directions and let me tell you I just saved $250 at least in repairs! Now my machine is working again!!! And I didn't need a man to do it for me 😉😉😉😉 and I found my baby son sock lol

If that filter is clean you should check the hose that connects the tub to this filter. After going nuts for three days and changing drain pump and switch and checking hoses and filters and nothing fixing my problem I removed the hose (the one with the ball) that connects the tub/drum to the drain pump and I found something stuck there that never pass the hose with the ball. That fixed the SUD and F21 errors.It took me 3 days and hours of work and test. Good luck.

Maytag F21 Code, Awesome it worked. Maytag had the same setup. Funny thing is I found the Manual taped up on the inside of the machine under this panel, a lot of good this does. Thanks alot. People make sure you unplug the machine to clear the codes.

An idea I got from another video was to attach a vacuum to the drain line. By doing so, I found a pair of women's underwear that was lodged in the rubber boot that goes between the wash drum and the pump housing/filter. I totally missed it on the first inspection and cleaning. By putting the vacuum on the drain, it pulled the underwear into the filter housing so I could find it the second time I opened it up.
