@@nickgerhauser4703 for me the water didn't drain, I had to check for clogs under the plastic grid. And also for a deep cleaning. I know there is supposed to be water right below the plastic cover to protect the rubber seals.

I took both the racks out and snaked the right drain with my hand the best I could. Then I took heavy duty zip ties and tied them together and stuck them down the pipe. I then took a small plunger to the right drain pretty aggressively for 10 minutes or so and ran a rinse cycle and it drained. I then ran a few empty loads with vinegar splashed (maybe a cup or two) and it's draining well now. Check your drainage into the garbage disposal before attempting all of this

@GMoney-B3 жыл бұрын
@@PaulLascari Don't let me stop you, up to you man. Good luck. I just forgot about that, especially because I'm in an apartment and I don't wanna pay for a new dishwasher(most likely wouldn't notice but still a chance I don't want to take). What I do every once in awhile is a fill up the diswasher with water, either manually or running dishwasher, then I dump in a bunch of baking soda, like half a cup to a cup, twice normal amount of dishwasher detergent for a load, and some salt, 1/4 to half a cup. Then I get the dishwasher ready so when I close the door it will start up instantly with the water and everything. When ready I dump in a cup of vinegar and close the door and run a full cycle. That helps to deodorize, sanitize/kill mildew or mold, and clean stuff out too.
